Bench Solutions Heavy Duty Fold Down Work Bench.

Excellent quality and it looks great. It takes time to put together / make sure everything aligns but it was well worth it.

Product arrived quickly and I was anxious to put it up in the garage. Instructions were good and I was impressed with the quality of materials. Finished install in less than two hours working to make sure I had the location just right and the bench level. Folding mechanism works very well, and the weight and quality of the butcher block style top is excellent. Looking forward to this product lasting a long time, and helping me keep the maximum amount of garage space with its fold down storage.

This is an awesome product. I set out to build my own folding bench until I stumbled on this item. The only thing I could wish for is maybe slightly larger lag bolts for studs but I'm being picky. The supplied hardware is very solid, and well sized given its 300 pound load capacity. The bench is very stout, strong, extremely well thought out and super stable. Installation took just under 2 hours working alone. The table surface is excellent maple given the price point. You just need to make sure your outermost mounting studs are not closer than 6" to an object like a wall corner or door. I love having the flexibility to maximize space in the garage for vehicles or open the table up when more horizontal space is needed during projects.

The bench arrived in really good packaging, they took a lot of care in packaging it. Installation is pretty easy, but you need to take your time. I spent 3.5 hours total. You can easily install it yourself (one person) I was a little confused about mounting the handle, so I called the support number that came with the instructions. I found their customer service to be great, they walked me through it, and emailed me close up photos of the area I was unsure of. They emailed me within 5 minutes!!! It was exactly what I needed. It's really a quality/sturdy bench, I absolutely love it, and would recommend it. I find it very easy and smooth to raise and lower the bench, it's a heavy bench!!!...but kicks into place with ease! I paired mine with the "Wall Solutions" peg-board system.

The idea behind Bench Solution Fold-Away Workbench is great. I would have given it a 4 or 5 star rating if not for several shortcomings I will list below.Pros: * Solid, nice looking workbench that folds down so that it is out of the way when not needed. * Relatively easy to assemble and install. * Good video on their web site about installation.Cons: * Typo in Step 7 - lists wrong part number. * It takes a little more effort to fold down the workbench than I expected. It works fine once you figure it out. (Pull the handles, pull up on the workbench, then push it down.) * A corner of the workbench top was damaged. The box was not damaged. I think the damage was done at the manufactures site. * Customer Support is basically non-existent. o It took several attempts to reach someone by phone. o I emailed pictures of the damage to an email address I was given, but never received a reply. o I followed up with an additional email and filing out the contact section on their website and have not received a reply.If not for the lack of customer support, I would recommend this product.
