I got this to help my medium sized senior dog (~50lbs) get on the sofa. I tried a few styles of dog ramp and this one was by far the best. Most dog stairs seem to be for small dogs only. Foam stairs were too flimsy and buckled under her weight. They were also too steep so she could not get her front and back feet on it at the same time and she’d usually attempt the jump instead. I also tried a big wooden incline ramp which was definitely sturdier, but too precarious and led to a fall. The Pet Gear Stramp is perfect for medium dogs because it is sturdy and just the right height and length. She can use it easily, no falls. It’s also super lightweight (I can lift it easily with one hand) so I can bring it in the car to help her get in and out. It has little rubber grippers that prevent it from sliding on hard surfaces. Plus it blends in well with my furniture. I seems like it would work for large dogs too (I can stand on it, ~130lbs). I highly recommend this product.

This will last forever. I bought my 1st one years ago when my 86 lb. guy got old and had hip issues. After he passed I used for my stepmom's 40 lb dog. And her smaller ones seemed to find it fun. Unless a chewing puppy uses it, I would call this super sanitary and indestructible. Plus even cats enjoy scratching the washable velco pad. I have several of their products I always find new uses for. I just bought again to match my 1st to put on the other side of the sofa coffee table for my mother's large dog who is 12, doing great after ACL surgery, but she has to get on the sofa to see outside the front window and bark at everyone, lol...Priceless product to me that can last forever and can work safely for all sizes. I do think the large circular incline pad is much safer and easier than steps.

Originally I ordered the pet Gear telescoping dog ramp but it was awkward to handle. I was afraid I would injure my back or pinch my fingers. After further research, I ordered this as a safe lightweight alternative and it has worked wonderfully. This sturdy ramp is only 10 inches tall, doesn't rock, and is on a gentle incline. My aging, frequently skittish 45 lb dog has the confidence to walk up the ramp then take a 2nd step up into my 2017 Highlander side passenger seat. I do have to guide her on a leash, but there is no hesitation so she must feel safe. Works well with my other much shorter 20 lb dog also. I store it in cargo bed for trips to the park and out of town. It doesn't take up much room, and is a wonderful solution for all our needs.

Our 2 golden retrievers have used the stair ramp multiple times a day, daily for over a year to get up & down from the waterbed and it's not showing any signs of wear. Our older golden limps in bad weather & was having a hard time getting up and down off furniture so after a lot of research, trial, and error we ended up purchasing this. It took him a couple days but he figured out pretty quick that it made it a lot easier to get up and down. Since we have hardwood floors, we decided put it on a slip proof rug & it stays put with no shifting when they use it.It's definitely sturdy(!) and has held up to their weight with no issues. They are both on the big size for goldens, our older golden is a pudgy 105lbs & the other is a fit 90lbs ( standing on ramp stair in pictures). It's also light weight enough to move around the house if needed ( i can pick it up 1 handed to vacuum with no issues ). It's wide enough for a pudgy golden to use and long enough for them to get up and down comfortably without being bunched up too much on the stair ramp.We opted for this ramp instead of stairs due to needing a longer step depth/ length for a golden retriever but not having enough room to accommodate the length we'd need for deeper/longer multiple steps. It ended up being perfect for the bed and the couch. The slope isn't too steep and has enough height that they are no longer making tsunami waves when getting onto the waterbed. Will definitely invest in a 2nd one for the living room in the near future.

My dog was not a fan the first day. She didn't understand what we wanted, so we gently placed her front legs on this & tried to start her exercises for a torn cruciate, rather than have surgery. Day two she understood what we expected (amazingly) & did her exercise routine well. The small pieces of hot dog definitely helped. This ramp is great for our doodle to get in & out of our van also. I placed it under the window in the house so she wouldn't jump up to look out the window. It worked. She would bark with her front paws on the ramp & actually be exercising w/o knowing it. We did have surgery done because she's a wild child & also tore her meniscus. This was invaluable after surgery for getting her painlessly into our van. This is well made & supports my 70 lb doodle. We will also be doing physical therapy again once she's healed more so I'm glad I have it. It is lightweight & easy to carry

I have a 3 year old, Old English Bulldog, this step/ramp helps her get on the couch. Only reason I didn't give it 5stars is although the angle is very small, bulldogs tend to put most of there weight on there from feet, so I see her back feet slipping everytime she uses it. But it does work. I think bulldogs need a flat step. But this is a good quality product. I think the company using a Bulldog in the picture is slightly misleading as this is not the best option for bulldogs. But again, it is a good quality product that does work.

This pet step is awesome. I have the one step and use it next to a loveseat/ smaller sofa. The dogs like to run up and down it and it does NOT wobble. It is sturdy. It’s wide enough for the dogs to feel comfortable using, but not too wide on space. It is made out of plastic with carpet on top so the dogs won’t slide. My dogs are medium size 20lbs & 25lbs. This is a good pet step. It’s better than some of the other material steps that are wobbly or too narrow. I recommend
