I was still in a cast from wrist surgery for Halloween. I decided to be a pirate and this hook was perfect! I was able to hold it easily and it stayed in place all night! I even used it to decorate my skeleton leading up to Halloween just for fun. It is very lightweight, but sturdy enough that I was able to work while holding it all night.

My 6 year old is suddenly pretending to be a pirate and was insisting on a hook hand. I really was not expecting a lot out of this and it has become one of his favorite toys. It has held up longer than I thought it would. True to size and color description. Great value here!

Cool prop. I was able to use it in a stage production while singing a funny song called "Being a Pirate." Looked great, and easy to put on at a moment's notice.

This item would work great for a little pirate. But teen or adult pirates beware.. you will want to find a different hook. Due to the size, we had to return it for our loot back.
