Ms Knight does not disappoint with Giovani's and Emelia's Journey
Ms Knight does not disappoint with Giovani's and Emelia's Journey,i was on an emotional high, this book was addictive. The words captivated me completely, every single word mattered and I enjoyed the complexity between Giovanni and Emelia. This book was raw and disturbing in such a good way.You enter a violent world where families are decimated, violated, vengeful acts are carried out at the hands of enemies but worse still by family members.A book that gives you a glimpse of a world that is dangerous, destructive and evil at times.Giovani Santa Maria has a cold hearted agenda,he will use any means to destroy Alessandro Estrella including using his sister as bait.Giovani is dark, menacing in the best possible way,he emanates raw power and masculinity. Emilia Larrea Estrella was daddy's spoiled princess but she never expected the extent her brother would go to exact his revenge.Emilia went to great lengths to hide her identity and put her past behind her.Giovani brought her past painful past back with devastating consequences.Giovano is used to having his own way and he wants Emilia, she is the link to finding Alessandro, but at what price. The chemistry between them is magnetic, two peas in a pod, brought together by brutal pasts which will shaped their future.Emila is damaged body and soul. She is hanging on by a thread, and if it breaks she will be unable to put herself back together. She needs the pain Giovani provides, its explosive and all she deserves. Giovani will protect her at any costs, broken pieces and all.In this book, the author handles the complexity of the characters expertly, you will find yourself liking Giovani regardless of his brutality. There are moments of hidden strength that shine through and make you catch your breath.Reading of Emilia's vulnerable journey was both heart warming and heart shattering. This book touched my soul,i loved how attuned Giovani and Emilia were to each other's feelings. This story has many layers and I enjoyed pulling each layer back, helping me to understand what motivated both Giovani and Emilia and how they respond to each other's needs. This booked ticked all the right boxes for me,the author has an ability to draw you in from the first page.I Cant wait for the next book in this series.

Good read
I always enjoy reading books by Natasha Knight, and this book is no exception. Giovanni is a spin-off of the Benedetti brothers series. I loved that series and while this book wasn't as good as the ones in that series, it's still a great read. Giovanni works for Dominic, head of the Benedetti family mob and he is looking for Alessandro, another bad guy. Alessandro is the brother of Emilia, who has lots of painful secrets of her own to hide. Giovanni thinks he can get Alessandro to come out of hiding by grabbing hold of Emilia, not realizing that Alessandro hates Emilia, hurt her terribly a long time ago and wants to come back to hurt her even more. When Giovanni realizes that Alessandro may be a danger to her, he vows to not only use her to draw Alessandro out but promises to protect her as well. Emilia hates the fact that she is very attracted to Giovanni and they have a lot of wild sex, she can only find fulfillment if someone hurts her during sex. In the midst of the various plot twists (and there are several), Giovanni and Emilia fall in love. So, what's to like about this book. The sex scenes are super hot (you'll need a fan) and the mystery part of the plot is very intriguing. I liked but didn't love the book bc I had a hard time believing or understanding why Emilia was having sex with Giovanni, a man she didn't know and didn't trust. I get that she liked rough sex but I would also think that given her traumatic background, she'd be more careful and get to know her partners first before she could trust that they wouldn't really hurt her. It also seemed a little unrealistic that he basically took over her life and she let him. I think he was a little too alpha/controlling for me and Emilia needed a little more backbone when it came to him.If you like dark romance, then you'll like this book

EPIC Series!
I am gutted that this is the final book in this series. I hope the author can see reason in giving one of the characters his own book. Let the begging begin. I loved our guy. Natasha Knight can write an alpha in her sleep now. What makes her have super powers is that each have a completely individual quality. They are not cookie cutter men. They need to have certain qualities but that said Giovanni was his own man. I will say that Emilia was a tough nut to crack for me. I had to know exactly what happened to her to make her the way she was. When that happened I fell in love with her. I enjoyed this story and the writing was as solid as all of the other books. I am in a bit of a pickle now because I need another Natasha book so I don't fall in a pit of despair! Great job Natasha! denise bailey

Mixed Feelings
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this. I read it straight through and it kept me interested, but it was pretty predictable and repetitive. Emilia and Giovanni don't really stand out from other characters in books like this, either. I also feel like the end of the story was rushed and the feelings the characters are supposed to feel for each other seem forced a little. I don't feel there was enough interaction that should have built those feelings between them. In the end, I kept reading because there was something there that pulled me in, but the story felt very generic.

Santa Maria!!!!
Holy Wow! Giovanni is just as intense as the Benedetti Brothers and Killian. Right from the start of this story you are thrown into gripping drama. It is a page turner. Emilia is a cartel princess on the run from a tragic past. Love how Giovanni is the hero but he is definitely not a White knight! Giovanni is so Good, it's dark, suspenseful and hot. A combination that makes this a 5 star must read!!!

great mafia romance
3.5/5 Stars! This audiobook at the time was included in my audible plus membership, so I gave it a go. It was an easy read in the sense that it was a very traditional mafia romance. It's everything I love in a dark mafia romance, and was overall an enjoyable read. It was a little predictable at times, but I plowed through it. It was a good easy read for me, and a good audiobook.

Fantastic read
Badass mafia boss. Ruthless and alpha beast. Wow. He takes no sh@#. Gives no quarter. The heroine is a damaged girl. My god. What happened to her was gut wrenching. Lots of steamy scenes. Excellent story.

Dark and so good!
I truly enjoyed it! At the beginning I wasn't sure because Giovanni didn't feel like the good guy. But the more we know him the better we understanding.Emilia endured such a dark and horrible past! I feel so much for her! Pitty nobody wants, but I can't help but feel it. Also how strong she is! Nothing about her is weak! I enjoy this author, but I do think about how does she come up with it.

Loved it
This has been a great mafia romance to me and the main reason is that NK has been able to keep the story simple and interesting at the same time. In addition, she also created two remarkable MCs, a broken woman you cannot help but love, and a strong caring man that would make any woman fell for.The only thing that felt unconvincing was the speed with which their relationship evolved at the beginning, but this feeling died soon enough.I also loved that the background story of the MCs was disclosed with a perfect timing that was never frustrating or annoying.

Dark, Gritty, Raw and Superb!
Natasha has written another 'mob' story, but this is like none of her other books. This book explores the tumultuous emotions of guilt, anger and betrayal. The two main characters are Giovanni and Emilia. Giovanni Santa Maria (don't you just love that name) is one heart thumping, pantie melting, sex on legs, dirty mouthed alpha that makes your libido do a happy dance. Emilia, once a cartel princess, filled with secrets and so broken by someone she should have been able to trust that she is breaking apart.Natasha has written one of the most moving 'break-downs' I have ever read. The abuse Emilia suffered is totally horrifying, but it is written with such depth and understanding that it is in no way titillating. Nothing is glossed over - the emotions are so raw they bleed. This truly is one dark, gritty story that has so many heart stopping moments that will make you pause so you can read that passage again.

Great read
Although it was sad to see how, even in this day and age rape victims feel guilty and don’t seek professional help. The last confrontation between Emilia and her brother was just stupid. What was she thinking? Sad to say but her dad was already dead. Instead of running she should have called Giovanni or at least gone with someone. Actually was was up with that? He left her alone in the house with no protection? After all that she endured I can’t believe that she didn’t Learn self defense and to always have a weapon. Did she think she could just reason with him? The whole love think was weird too. Looked more like Stockholm syndrome. I would I’ve liked more interactions with Dominic and crew and lastly to know exactly what happened with his dad.
