These Shoes Are Big For the Size
These shoes run "big". I ordered size 13 and they seem to be a 14 in length. They are clearly larger than my other size 13 shoes. But fortunately, my feet are not slipping out of them and I have narrow feet. Definitely order smaller than your expected size. If you want to be safe, order 1/2 size smaller than your regular ordered size of other shoes. I did not return them. They are a nice looking shoe and I have received compliments on them from the ladies in the office.

These shoes are wonderful. Though they're slip-ons
These shoes are wonderful. Though they're slip-ons, my feet stay secure and don't slide around in them. They're made of a beautifully finished, soft, supple leather that stretches to conform to my feet. The sheepskin insoles are really comfortable. In fact, these are the most comfortable dress shoes I own, due also in part to the fact that they have flexible rubber soles, as opposed to my leather-soled or stiffer rubber/man-made soles. It feels like I'm wearing slippers. And the uppers appear to be genuine calfskin as advertised, and full grain leather, as they only get small hairline creases from walking which are barely noticeable and mostly disappear after returning them to the shoe trees.

Honesty it's a good looking shoe
Honesty it's a good looking shoe. It has a strange lumpy insole. I suppose that would make them soft to walk in. They're just too tight for me. I normally wear 11.5 to 12. I bought size 12. They're tight all over. It might be that the lumpy insole shrinks the interior down. Unfortunately they're going back. I gave them 4 stars for looks. I can't blame the shoe for not fitting my feet.

Reasonably comfortable, a little slim for a wide size.
I expected a wide size to be a little wider. These are breaking in slowly to accommodate my foot width, but they were initially pretty uncomfortable in regards to the width. The cushion of the soles is adequate. The appearance is exactly as is in the photos. These are reasonable shoes for business casual.

Excellent all-arounder...
This shoes is difficult to beat for the cost. The sole is nice and grippy for walks from the train station to the office during inclement weather (leather soles frequently give way on snow or icy surfaces). It also provides a ton of cushion with each step, very similar to my ECCO Windsor slip-ons. The leather is buttery soft, and the look is great with slacks, as well as chinos. Perhaps a bit too much gloss for jeans. Just a great all around shoe for the office.

Lovely shoes!
My husband loves the shoes, the quality and the style. His foot is difficult to fit as he has a very high instep, so he has had to have a cobbler do a little adjusting and now they seem to fit well. It really is a beautiful shoe!!!

Great pair of shoes for the office
my 3rd pair of J&Ms. my wide feet fit them well, and the insole is pretty durable. my last pair of J&Ms lasted almost 3 years before I wore the outsole too thin at the toes where I walk funny. leather soles would stand up longer, but not be as comfortable for standing/walking in my office environment.

Squeaking like a rusty screen door
I have had at least 8 pairs of J&M's through the years and have been very happy with all of them. In fact most were worn until I scuffed them up so bad they were unwearable. Upon wearing them for the first time there was a like creak in the left heal when I walked. Not that big of a deal, but over time this got worse and then the right heal started squeaking and the left got so bad that I sounded like I needed knee replacements when I walked into a room. It is so bad now that I am embarrassed to wear them. It took 3-4 months for this to develop so I haven't tried to return them. I did take them into a local J&M store just to show them what was happening and maybe get some advice and as soon as I started saying "I bought these online..." the RUDE sales associate interrupted me before I could even finish my sentence and said "I can't help you if you didn't buy them from here". Sorry but they may have just lost a lifetime customer. Bottom line...my last pair of J&M's were made in Italy, these are not...but price is the same.
