Snip-it 26" Culotte Slip (2402)

I was looking for a summer alternative to hose to prevent "chub rub". I have tried several brands of slip shorts, but they all crept up my legs. Ugh! So I began searching for other options with a longer inseam. I read other reviews and decided to give these a try. I was not surprised to experience the same fit issues mentioned by other reviewers. Being 5'2", the length fell several inches below my knees and the rise was also too long, which is not an uncommon problem for me. I also found the lace to be stiff. Still determined to give them a trial run, I washed them according to the care label (machine wash / tumble dry low). To my surprise, THEY SHRUNK! I am so glad I did not shorten it first, because they are now ALMOST PERFECT! The length is to my knees and the rise is just a tiny bit off. The lace is not as stiff, and I suspect it will get softer with every washing. The nylon fabrication is not as cool as the cotton/spandex slip shorts. But I still prefer this culotte slip. It beats those creepers any day!!

I am normally a 2X, but after reading the reviews that they run large, I bought 2 pair of 1X and they fit PERFECTLY! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend these Culotte slips over regular slips any day of the week!! They do not twist or move around like regular slips do and they are SO comfortable - they are HONESTLY the best thing I have found that has totally made my life SO much easier in many, many years! I gave away my slips - all of them. I will ONLY wear these from now on. I just can't say enough about the comfort factor and how easy they are to pull down and up into place so easily (compared to a regular slip which gets twisty and hard to get into place). I would do a free commercial for these Culottes I love them so much! I SWEAR I don't work for them, I am just so OVERJOYED to find comfort in a slip because I so don't like wearing dresses and skirts anymore. These have made my skirt-wearing much more pleasurable. The price is most definitely worth it! They last forever. (Had bought before in a 3X and they were falling off, so HAD to buy in a much smaller size since I lost weight).

When I find a culotte slip that I love (the only kind of slip I wear), I buy a stack of them because they're sure to be discontinued at some point. That's what happened, and the extras that I had on hand has kept me in supply for years as I searched for a replacement. THIS IS IT! These fit perfectly and what I like most is that they're cut so that they don't feel as if you're just wearing a pair of pants under your clothing. The cut is full and generous and is great under lightweight skirts for the summer. The full cut also makes it easy to wear in the hot weather. It's long, just as I like it. I'm 5'1" and I wear long skirts, and this slip is just perfect in length - no snipping necessary. This is the first time in years that I found a good culotte slip that fits beautifully, is full cut, and the right length. Bravo!

PROS: What I like is that the petti slip/culotte is long enough to wear effectively under skirts, and prevent thigh rubbing even on a hot summer day. It allows me to not wear hose, and be able to wear cute sandals. The lace on the slip makes it feminine. The wideness of the legs creates a slip like effect. This product would not work well if you are looking for an under slacks garment...that should be closer fitting.CONS: What I don't like is the high rise design of the waist...to have the legs sit in the right place the waist band has to be higher than my waist. I think it would fit a person with a much larger belly area. Other than that, the medium fit appropriately. I could probably wear a small, but I suspect it would still sit too high, as proportions are somewhat off (or old fashioned). Nevertheless, it is the only garment of it's kind to solve the thigh problem...so is worth it.

I absolutely love these, have been wearing them for years and they just keep getting better.No more chafing in the hot weather with a dress or skirt!They are so light they feel like they aren't there, but they give great protection, should a good gust of wind come up, you're covered, literally!I always buy an extra pair because I wear them to bed. They are so light and the slide nicely, so you don't get hung up and all twisted in the sheets. They are just super comfy. Go buy them! Lots of colors and lengths and you can make them just right for you.

I’ve been looking for these forever! I don’t know why anyone would wear a regular slip under a maxi dress — this is so much better. I’m 5’8”and the slip lands below the knee, maybe a bit longer. The material is typical nylon slip material. Comfortable and cool. There is no whoosh sound at all. There was no problem with it being too high waisted or having a low crotch. It fit just right. I will be getting another one just in case they become impossible to find again. Totally worth it.

This product is very nice. Hangs well and fits well under culottes. The only complaint I have is that it says it is 26 inches long. Usually on pant-like items, the length is measured in inseam not from the waist. It is 26 inches from the waist to the end of the lace. I thought it was inseam length.

I ordered black in xl. I'm wearing it under some thinner dresses with midi length, so the length is just right. I am 5'3" and about size 12 or 14. This is a tad too big but I needed extar room as am fluctuating with weight. I plan to add some snaps to adjust the waist. The crotch sits a little low, due to it being a bit big on me and that did cause some chaffing because the seam rubbed my inner thighs. I washes it gentle in cold and hung to dry. Seems to wash nicely. Silky feel amd attractive design over all.
