Q: What is the capacity?

As a school luggage is ok. For short travel (1-2 days) is ok too. But it is fragile and just for young kids.

Q: how much does the bag weigh empty?

The bag does not weigh too much but the space inside is very small. I got it for my 7 year old son as a carry on for the plain or for a weekend bag. It does not have enough space in it for weekend. So really it's just for cool factor of a skateboard on it. Other issue is the weeks don't turn right or left it just goes straight. I did not think it was that great.

I would say perfect for 4-6 year olds maybe 7. 30-50 lbs.
