E-Z UP Sierra II Instant Pop Up Outdoor Canopy 10' x 10', Roller Bag and 4 Piece Spike Set, Royal Blue

We bought this same canopy when they first came out, lasted us over 15 years! The only reason we had to purchase another is the canopy did not make it through a violent wind storm, as we forgot to lower it down when going to bed while camping. The second version seems just a sturdy as the first. It is very easy to set up and take down. I have put it up and taken it down with myself and my small daughter with no issues. It even comes with a very nice/sturdy roller bag ( which also will hold up and not breakdown over time)

I have used EZUps for years. They've Been flimsy. Do break down intake and the putting up was ALWAYS work. This is the easiest to put up ALONE! SO sturdy. I was gobsmacked how out of the box it set right up in moments. I am so excited EZups are finally Easy!

I bought this to take to the beach. Easy to set up with 2 people. Now we use it on our deck!

This product worked flawlessly. I bought it w/ Amazon Prime and paid the extra $3.99 to have it shipped overnight the day before heading to the beach.The wind was blowing hard, but the canopy remained anchored with the included steaks... no problems. It was really easy to put it... I could have done it alone I think, but 2 people is MUCH easier. (4 people is almost instant)Seems to be really good quality for the price, I was quite surprised. The carrying case has wheels and is very handy to move around. It's not all that heavy to carry either.My only regret is that I didn't get the 12x12. It's measured from the base, so 10x10 is really quite a bit less. But once it was up, it didn't really feel too small. (bigger is always better though!)Good purchase!

I'm a long-time camper, I've camped in everything from a snow filled forest to 115F deserts with no plant life at all, in sun, wind, rain, etc.The smaller E-Z Ups can be handled fairly well by one person, but even they go much faster with 2. The bigger ones really do need two people to handle.The big question is: will it actually provide you with shelter? Yes, it will. E-Z Ups actually work a fair bit better than many other brands I've seen. In moderate to high wind you will need to tie them down to something substantial - trees, rocks, etc. Unlike other brands, these seem robust enough - I've seen several other brands collapse, and their metal poles and plastic parts bend and brake. E-Z Ups seem to hold up much better. I would suggest replacing the "tent stakes" supplied with the product with something much more robust. I use construction stakes.If you're off camping or outdoors, and there's a chance of rain, you'll probably want one of these over your picnic table, they work great.--I will add to this review - a tip about strong winds. Strong winds can get the better of nearly any awning, even these. The best advice is to get or make some very robust anchors for the corners. Install the anchors, attach ropes or compression cargo straps. Then set up the awning, and while holding it in place, attach the corner anchors and make the awning fast (tie it down very securely). By anchoring the corners well you will reinforce the rest of the structure. I use a mix of cargo straps and bungee cords (attached to construction stakes) and have very good results.Keep in mind, this is not a temporary house!-one more edit - EZ-up sells parts for many of their models on-line.

This is a great canopy. As someone who needs protection from the sun, I love being able to sit or lay underneath this and be fully protected all day long. I've used this canopy at the beach, for tailgating and for watching kids sports. It's held up wonderfully to all sorts of different weather and it goes up very easily with two people. The first time you put it up, it is a little difficult to get the pieces up, but once you know what you're doing, it will take 5-10 minutes to get set up. We have used the stakes (very tiny) that come with it, but I strongly recommend purchasing the weights as well for it. While the stakes held up pretty good in some beach wind, I feel more comfortable having the stakes and the weights to hold it down. Also, you can't use the stakes on concrete so it's a good idea to get the weights if you're going to be using it on a hard surface. While its probably not recommended by the manufacturer, we have also hung wet t-shirts to dry from the poles within the canopy.As I stated above, we used this at a kids sports tournament and the tournament actually ended up getting cancelled by a massive thunderstorm. This canopy was up the entire time and we lowered it to the lowest level and had 7 people and a large Labrador Retriever underneath it the entire time. We each held an end (the wind was insane) to keep it from blowing away and stayed relatively dry throughout the entire storm with the exception of our feet so I know this thing can hold up to a pretty strong storm.What it can't hold up to is human error. One of the plastic clips broke because our friend was pushing too hard when we were trying to get it back down. While I don't think the canopy is broken because of this, it definitely will become more difficult to put up and down now. Just be careful when you are trying to push in the plastic clips to put it down as they can break.

I bought the canopy for desert camping, it is perfect for setting up over a picnic table or just setting it up to get out of the sun, I read some complaints about the size, but for me it's perfect for my use. The legs are slightly angled which is also a plus because it ads to the stability in the wind, It goes up and down in seconds, where as we didn't get into a rain storm, after our trip I set it up in my yard to rinse it off with the hose and it didn't leak at all, and I really blasted too...even if it did leak a little seam seal can fix it, I was surprised it didn't leak, usually I seam seal everything, some times one needs to be a little more pro active instead of always complaining and giving things less stars...sweating the small stuff, It would be nice if the company install some tie-out hooks, but that's a easy work around.

Fast and easy to put up and close down.This is the easiest gazebo to use and to transport with you anywhere you goI rate this as a 5 stars
