As someone who loves doing my nails at home, I’ve always struggled with the mess that comes with filing and buffing. I mean, nail dust gets everywhere, and honestly, it’s a pain to clean up. Plus, I was getting a bit worried about inhaling all that fine dust every time I filed my nails. That’s when I decided to try out the Melodysusie Nail Dust Collector, and I have to say I'm seriously impressed.First off, the design is sleek and doesn’t take up a ton of space on my desk. It looks professional, but it’s also pretty compact, so it fits perfectly without crowding my workspace. The surface is smooth, making it super easy to wipe down, and the LED light gives it a little extra touch of polish.Now, let’s talk about performance. I was honestly amazed at how well this dust collector works. The suction power is so much stronger than I expected! It captures pretty much all the nail dust while I’m filing or buffing, which has been a total game-changer for me. I don’t have to deal with dust flying all over the place anymore, and it’s honestly such a relief not having to clean up every time. It’s also not too loud, so I can use it without it being distracting or annoying.Okay cleaning it…I was worried that cleaning it would be a hassle, but thankfully, that’s not the case. The filter is super easy to remove, and emptying it is quick and simple. I’ve had this dust collector for a little while now, and it still works like a charm—no loss of suction or weird noises.

It only comes with one filter, and you’ll want to buy more eventually, but for at least 10 uses, you’ll be good with one. The only complaint is that for larger bits, it doesn’t really grab them, and blows them across my table, but that’s a small complaint. Compared to the mess I used to make, that’s minimal. I don’t mind brushing them away instead of having to clean the entire surface.

I could never go back to doing my nails without a dust collector! This one works amazing! One star deduction because I wish it was capable of being cordless like my nail drill.

The media could not be loaded. I love This Vacum, its Super strong, very useful for all of the dust of my clients nails! Its grate for the price, the buttons are a little sensitive but I put it in the side not in my front and I don’t touch it too much! Really recommend it

I am a newbie to DIY dip powder nails. Needless to say, things have gotten a little messy. Not to mention, I also suffer from dip flu. To help alleviate this issue, I bought the Melody Susie Dust Collector. And I am happy I did. It captures much (though not all) of the nail dust as I file my nails. As such, I am not breathing as much of it in. Moreover, my desk is somewhat cleaner with the dust collector.It has two power settings - Lo and Hi. I usually use it on the highest setting. The control buttons are soft touch and located in an area that is easily accessible. I find myself accidentally turning off poor changing the speed setting. Therefore, I position the control panel away from me to stop that from happening.The dust collector sounds like what you would expect. It is not overly loud. but not whisper quiet either.The power is more than adequate for the job. At first, I didn't think so. But, I tried the paper towel test. Lay a paper towel over the dust and the paper towel should instantly stick to the nail dust collector, as the suction of the fan pulls at anything near it.Cleaning the filter is easy. I shake it out over the garbage can and/or use a blow dryer on low/no heat to remove as much dust as possible before putting it back ino the machine. Melody Susie instructions suggest to change the filter every 2-3 months. But, as I am a DIYer who only uses it 2-3 times per month, I will only change every 6-8 months.Overall, I am enjoying this dust collector.

This came today and can I just say it is fabulous! First off I love being able to have the two options for high suction and low. The high suction beat my expectation by far. The low was great for wanting todo hand filing. The filter is so very easy to clean also.My other dust collector does not even come close. The second would be the sound even with it being on the high section It is so very quiet. When I would use my original dust collector I felt that I could not hear my client over it while it was running. I would highly recommend!!

Bought this for my nail artist 16 year old daughter. She has been doing her own nails since 13 and her talent and interest only seem to grow. Got this to keep her safe from the nail dust. She and her work table is dust-free now!
