Doorricade Door Bar by Doorricade

I opted for this barricade because our front door faces a busy street. Although no break-ins have occurred, thought it was a good idea to install one. Since I have no handyman skills, I had to hire someone to install it at an added cost of $100.00. Ouch. But it is what it is. This barricade is solid and will make you sleep better at night. The handyman installed it in like 40 minutes so it was well worth it. There are 2 small locking mechanisms at each side of the hinges so if someone tried to insert a knife to lift the bar, these 2 locking mechanisms will prevent that from happening. A worthwhile (and secure) investment!

The quality is excellent & pleased I bought it...only problem is it took ages to get it in Australian.It was only after contacting the manufacturer direct that they finally dispatched it. Even an earlier complaint to Amazon failed to motivate them to send it.Maybe the freight cost to Australia was so great that the really did not want to sell it/send it here , as the deal offered included FREE delivery???

The media could not be loaded. I have Dooricades on 3 exterior doors and my master bedroom door. I just bought another one after I helped my YouTube buddy put it to the test. We threw everything at it including a Battering Ram! The steel door finally was destroyed, and the Doorricade remained intact. Installs in minutes, brackets look nice and stay folded out of the way until you need to deploy it in seconds. 5 big stars!

Great brand and product. nothing is ever guaranteed but this product definately helps me feel safer

The dooricade works so well.Seems very secure and install wasn't hard.I did have to chisel out one side of the door jamb a little to make it fit without binding up the door but it was easy with some small mortise chisels.Would've been even easier if I had a router and door hinge jig.Easy to install, took 30 minutes. Seems very secure, but hopefully I'll never need to find out.
