Original Bread'N Butter Pikles, 1 Count

Decades ago, I discovered these pickles, and then, well, circumstances change. Recently, I reverted to making my own sandwiches as opposed to hitting local sandwich shops, and I remembered them. NO groceries carried them! I assumed they were no longer available. Imagine my delight to find them on amazon!They offer a 'new and improved' version, but mercifully still make Originals!! Upon opening the jar, I was taken back to when I ate these pickles regularly, and they are exactly as I remember them. If you are a bread-and-butter pickle fan, these are sweet - literally - so be informed...not everyone likes a sweeter B&B pickle. But for those of us who do, I cannot think of a better example of the species.

I think they are WAY overpriced hence the 2 stars, but they are just as I remember them. Store brands and others do no do these justice in taste. Original is always better!

My order arrived nicely on time, but the package was inadvertently dropped as it was being handed to me.The glass jar broke immediately, no surprise as it was completely unprotected with only an inflated sleeve on top of it to prevent it from bouncing around in its cardboard box.These pickles are nice, so I've just ordered another jar, hoping for better luck this time.

These are considerably more expensive than the average B & B pickles. However, I think the values is there.

Arrived with loose lid spilled juice in packaging and no way for return or refund… don’t buy

They are the same flavor and texture as I bought thru the years. No other Bread & Butter brands can come close to their taste. The pickle slices are just right size, soft with a crunch, yum. I wish the grocery stores would carry them, but at least our friends at Amazon does.

i fondly remember these pickles from my childhood at Thanksgiving. Great taste but overpriced. Will not be buying these again.

I was do looking forward to eating these pickles again. Haven't seen them In stores for yrs. Unfortunately, the company decided that the ones from 20 or 30yrs ago that everyone loved, needed to be changed. These are thick cut with s tougher skin and seem to have a stronger vinegar taste.Won't buy them again.Too bad
