Very nice and heavy hilt. Almost entirely metal. There are many sharp metal edges on the hilt. I cut open 3 fingers. Buying sand paper to smooth the edges. Very cool colors and "molten" effect.Update: after buying some cheap metal sandpaper and rubbing the sharp parts down for maybe a minute or so, there is no more sharp edges and no damage to the lightsaber. It's very fun to spin and "deflect bolts."Definitely recommend this.

I like the extras this comes with, the crystal, the stand and the blade tool. The colors on the blades are really bright and consistent. The color change feature is really cool. It did have a few sharp edges that were easily removed by running a tool down that edge. As an adult collector I am happy to own this item.

The lightsaber itself is beautifully crafted and works perfectly. It is exactly as described and that is the reason for 5 stars including the one issue I have with it… the flutes that run down the center of both sides of the hilt are razor sharp. I have several nicks and cuts on my hands just from changing the blade for the crystal and installing the batteries. The flutes are sharp enough that I didn’t even realize I had been cut until I saw blood on the hilt. If you plan to ‘duel’ with the saber be sure you carefully check the flutes before hand so you don’t get a deep cut because your opponent swung a little to hard and disarmed you.

Pros :I love the features, the sound & responsiveness of this Lightsaber is better than any of the others I have, the colors are bright, & the hilt is beautiful.Cons:This saber has some very sharp edges just about any place you grip the hilt & the large button on mine literally came apart as soon as I opened it. I fixed it, but for the price of it these things shouldn't happen.

A great addition to my sons collection

So… I own a lot of lightsabers. This one is #2 right now out of all of them (#1 is the Leia one from DLR/WDW and #3 is probably he Rey one from DLR/WDW).This one excels due to it having a stand, a khyber crystal AND it does three colors. Now I own all four Savi’s Workshop lightsabers and this one is higher quality electronics wise. It may not be as heavy and durable but it’s… just better in prop quality and features.It had a button that simulates battle and using the lightsaber to cut through something. Also it does three colors on its own (blue, green, yellow).Weird that it didn’t come with batteries but that’s fine…All in all 10/10 awesome.

Super cheap, machined parts that were not sanded down and sharp edges... leds were not diffused well and are clearly visble... much much far superior better work and craftsmenship on previous non elite black series lightsabers... not sure if by disney or hasbros exucutive orders, but they severely cut down the quality and matierials used to produce this in itteration of their black series saber products.

The flutes that run down the middle are extremely sharp. I cut my hand in two places without knowing it. It was only when I saw blood in my hand from two parallel cuts that I was sliced open from the lightsaber. I recommend you wear gloves. I am surprised this lightsaber is not being RECALLED due to how dangerous it is. Other than this one issue, I think this is a fantastic lightsaber, it changes from blue, green to yellow. If it wasn't for the razer sharp edge this would be a five star item.
