American Apparel California Fleece Pullover Raglan Hoodie Dress

I am 5'3", 130 lbs, curvy. This sweatshirt dress fits like an American Apparel extra small. It looks pretty nice on me, very fitted and the black hides imperfections well. But if it shrinks AT ALL, it will be too small. I wonder why AA only makes this in "one size" and wonder why the size is so tiny. This would be a very flattering piece on larger women, but if you are over a petite size 6, I do not recommend buying this garment.

This hoodie "dress" is on the short side as in a very short dress which other reviewers have addressed, so I expected that. I intended to wear tights with it anyway. What I didn't expect is that the opening where I put my head through is very small. It's just barely big enough for my head to go through and I have to pull it hard. I don't have an extra large head. The hoodie fits me well but if I was any bigger, it would be tight. I am 5-2 and 129 lbs. I love the color and love the way it feels. It's great for winter when I just keep it on all day. It would be hard to take it on and off throughout the day since it's difficult for my head to go through.

I'm 5'7, 135 lbs (normally around 130 but I put on a bit of weight recently) and very pear shaped with huge hips. I normally wear a size 6 or so in jeans. This actually fits me pretty well, but will be better once I've dropped a few pounds as it's pretty tight on me. I've got a really long torso but it still covers my butt. Probably too short to be worn as a dress but it will look cute with leggings and boots or sneakers. Personally I think it runs a bit small and someone curvier than me might not be able to wear it except as a normal hoodie. It's pretty cute and seems to be good quality. Very soft inside, too!

I am giving this hoodie 3 stars. The onlyReason I'm not giving it 2, is because it fits me. I love the length and the way the body part of it fits, the arms are just the right length as well just long enough to pull down over my hands. Now for the cons of this hoodie. The head hole is VERY small,not a hoodie you could slip on and off easily with out messing your hair AND makeup up. The shoulders are also quit small. I have a fairly small frame I am 5'3 1/2 and weight 130 pounds, with narrowish shoulders. This hoodie just barely fits me. NO ROOM FOR LAYERS. Except maybe a thin short sleeve. If you are looking for a casual slip on and off comfy hoodie, keep looking. I am going to wear this one as a tunic type shirt with some printed leggings and boots. I will just pull the sleved up if I get warm. Hope this helps. I wear US small (4-6) and this hoodie fits me about the same as shown on the item page. Since this item is 100% cotton, it WILL shrink in the dryer, which I was expecting anyway. I've been line drying mine and washing it with cold water to avoid excessive shrinkage. The only reason I give this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I went to another order one in different color, I found that the price had increased ALMOST TWICE the amount I'd paid for this sweatshirt to begin with. I will not order this product again based on principal, not because of lack of quality.

Firstly, I got my item 3 days before the estimated delivery date & that excited me because tracking info wouldn't update on here. Luckily, I bought 2 of them (forest & black, true to color) minutes before the price went back up, almost like a 2 for 1 deal! I decided to try on the dress immediately so I would know exactly what it looks like when its time to wear it. I am 5'2, 130 lbs, 34-27-40 measurements, & It fits perfectly. I have a shorter torso, so the dress stops about 3 or 4 inches under my bottom. It is versatile enough to where i can wear this with leggings or without, & it still wont show too much. On me, it looks pretty close to the models but a tad more form fitting. It is extremely soft, comfortable & warm without being stuffy. My only complaint is the head hole size. I don't have the smallest head (lol) so I would have to make sure I do hair & makeup after I've already put this dress on. I can't wait to wear these out!!!

I can't even get this over my head, the hole is too small. I am a women's size 4, so either I just have a big head, or this is meant for little girls.I give it two stars because if it had fit, it would have been awesome!

This product runs small. It states one size fits all. I'm 5'8' 142lbs. It's fits, but it was a little hard to get over my head and its a little tight. The material is not stretchy, but it's soft. The length stops at thigh point.

I purchased this from American Apparel in White and loved it so much I ordered it in Black a few months later from Amazon. I am 5'7, 130 lbs and this o/s(medium) fits me well. If you are worried about fit, try the size specs at American Apparel as they have it in a different colour (sold out).

Ich habe etwa Größe 40/42, dann reicht das Teil nicht mehr über meinen Hintern und man kann es nicht als Kleid tragen.
