Maytex Reeves Stretch 2 Piece Sofa Furniture Cover Slipcover, Chocolate Brown

This was everything I thought it would be and more. It looks great and is so soft. Slip covers have really come a long way. We have a 3 and 6 year old and the stains they leave behind have come right off with a baby wipe. We have had the sofa and chair slipcovers for over a month and have not had to wash them yet. They do need minor retucking a few spots every few days but for how nice they look it's totally worth it. So happy we bought these, no more mystery stains on the couch.

Color is a nice cream color and the material is soft and very stretchy. I have a large loveseat (78") so I had to buy the sofa size and I thoyit would look sloppy but it fit great with a few nip/tucks in specific places. My only issue is that the zipper is cheap And wouldn't zip right unless I zipped it very slowly and carefully and pressed the sides together. Also the actual zipper handle slid right off when I had to put it back on after washing it. Good thing the zipper goes behind the cushions and I have plenty of material to fold behind it to make it work. Oh, while I'm at it, can you guys PLEASE make a cover for those accent slipper chairs with no arms? They are impossible to find. Like they don't exist. It can't be that hard to make a chair version with no arms, can it? They make dining/Parson chair covers, only these should be a little wider at the top/back area. Thanks!

Since it only has a single negative review, I thought this item needed a little love. I chose it over the other Maytex 2-piece versions solely for the color. I was hoping it would be a pleasant, soft cream and that's exactly what it is. I'm relieved*. The fabric is very soft, like microfiber, in a small check pattern that scans almost like wide wale corduroy. It doesn't smell out of the package, which is sometimes an issue with made in China textiles (note to manufacturers: I would gladly pay more to purchase something made in the USA.) The fit's OK on my old (86", loose back, 2 seat cushion, rolled arm) sofa - a bit loose, but I wasn't expecting miracles. It's a million times better than the scratchy, soiled monstrosity it's hiding, a thousand times neater than the sheets I was using as covers, and 200 times cheaper than a new couch.*Don't really understand why most of these things seem to come in such drab, ugly solids plucked from the past. Flat wine, blue, brown, tan, grey - so depressing. Surely they make nicer neutral colors and textures in stretch material now?

I bought this slip cover to cover a chair that our cats had started using as a scratching post. I really like the chocolate brown color of this slip cover and it was very easy to put on and adjust. It may not look quite as neat as the chair pictured on the Amazon listing, but it looks nice enough that most people wouldn't even notice it is a slip cover. The fabric is soft and seems like it will hold up well and our cats aren't scratching it at all. I bought this just before Thanksgiving because we were having a lot of people over and the chair is way to comfortable to get rid of. I am very much enjoying this product.

HUGE.....but I knew it would be for my chair....just tucked extra under chair and used binder clips to secure....I have used this technique before, and it always works......just undo binder clips and remove for washing.True color.....easy to put on as it is well marked......nice quality and feel

My household consists of 2 adults, two dogs over 70 pounds, two larger breed cats, and at least once a month two toddlers. This cover has stayed in place, and not moved on our loveseat. Virtually no hair sticks to the couch, and what is on there comes off easily with a handheld vacuum. Easy to wash, easy to put on. Has a nice soft feel to it. I am very happy that I bought this. Will be buying this brand again if I need another cover.

Couch cover is GREAT! We had a floral couch, which had no wear, but was starting to look a little dated. With the cover, we now have a brand new couch!! Once we got the cover in place, it pretty much stayed without continual tucking. Glad the cover came in 2 pieces. The only problem I could see was the fact that we have a 3-cushion couch and the cushions were a little tricky to get into the 2nd piece then onto the couch.

Be warned, this natural color is alot more "buttery" than just a plain neutral tone, in my opinion. It definitely does not look as neutral or cool tinted as the picture online, even with the normal color variations in monitors. Also, my normal-shaped loveseat is 72" (looks just like the one in the picture) and it did not fit on it properly. It was stretched so tightly, by the time I finally got it most of the way on, I was concerned it would do damage to the seams if anyone actually sat on it. IF, I had liked the color, I would've exchanged for the sofa-sized version and I'm sure that would've worked out just fine. I did not, so I'm returning it.

Cheap material

Easy to put on and can be made to fit will by tucking in. Stays in place really good. Looks good.
