KEENMen's, Targhee III Oxford

My search for some hiking shoes let me to try these KEEN hikers after not getting a good fit with another higher end hiking shoe. I wore these around the house for several days before taking them out on the street, just to be sure they were going to fit well, and the heel in the arch area.As advertised, there’s plenty of room in the toebox, but there’s a great fit for the arch and heel area, so the shoe feels great! I normally wear a size 11 in crosstrainers, and an 11 in this KEEN shoe worked perfectly.These make great looking casual everyday shoes. I love the leather, the shoes are easy to lace up to tighten them just right on my feet, and the tread has great grip.If anything changes after I actually go out on a hiking trail, I will add to this review. However, from what I’ve experienced so far, I believe they’re going to be comfortable and hopefully durable hiking shoes. I am pleased!UPDATE:I haven’t made it to the trail yet, but I teach school and have worn these to school several days… Today I realized they are more comfortable than the cross trainer sneakers that I usually wear. Very comfortable as I’m on my feet all day!

These are Great shoes. Lots of room in the toe box. I use insoles for extra cushion but the regular insoles in these has something extra I have not found in Skechers. Excellent shoes. They do not need alot of break in time either. Comfortable right out of the box.

These have become my go to shoes over the past 4 years. In that time I have gone through 3 of them, and while that may sound like it's a lot in that time frame, I was in construction, and that can be difficult on any kind of clothing. The padding is comfortable, the leather looks and feels good, the details are nice and clean, the grip of the soles are good, but my favorite thing about them is the sizing of the toe area. Lots of shoes like to push your toes to a point which can cause issues for your feet, but these ones give you plenty of space to be able to have your toes be able to move and not feel cramped or uncomfortable in what you are wearing. I still have all three pairs of shoes, and will wear them depending on what I am doing for outside work, and weather that day. My only complaint is that for me the threading around the toe area on the sides. Two of my three pairs have broken the exact same way.

I've been wearing these constantly for almost two (2) years, and I have no complaints about them. This is my third pair of Keen shoes; I wore my first two pairs into the ground, and am well on my way to doing the same on this pair, too.The fit is just fine - 12M. Not tight, not loose, just right. They are not wearing out too quickly or unevenly. The soles are in great shape, and the leather and insoles are intact. I occasionally wipe them down with a cloth dipped in Dawn & water, then wipe with a cloth dampened with just water. I've read reviews of Keen shoes squeaking while walking; no problems here. Nice and quiet. Soles don't leave behind marks, either.I don't understand what some of the bad press is about. Good Casual Shoes, I would buy again.

For me, a hard, high arch in a shoe is painful. My feet aren't flat - but their natural arch works just fine without a big knot of plastic and foam pushing them up. These shoes seem mildly padded in the arch by comparison, and, for me, are comfortable. They look nicer than a regular running shoe, so I wear them everywhere, pretty much every day. With 6 months of use, they are holding up well. If they last more than a year, I'll consider that pretty good and buy another pair. I don't know if this matters, but I chose Wide because I like a little extra wiggle room for the toes. I would do that again, too.

This is the best pair of shoes I've probably ever purchased. Felt great from the first time putting them on. Perfect fitting especially with my wide feet. I'm on my feet 13-14 hours a day and they are great! I'll definitely be buying them again. Going to get a pair for everyday and work. Great product!

I work standing on my feet for 85% of my day, and these shoes were an awesome replacement for my old worn out shoes! Super comfortable and appear to be very durable! I liked them so much I ordered a second pair!

I've been wearing Keens for a good 20 years and have bought probably 30 pairs. They're perfect for my feet and I can walk 10-12 miles without sore feet. Literally the only brand I can do this with. In the past 6 or so years I have noticed a serious drop in quality and regularly have to return brand new shoes due to defects like bad stitching and rubber soles falling off. This last pair of Targhee 3 oxfords passed the initial inspection and so I put them away for later when I needed them. I recently went out of states for a month on combination business and holiday. These were the only pair of shoes I brought thinking they would double for business casual and comfort in my off time. Not a week into my trip in Europe walking around I noticed one shoe was dragging/making noise. This evening I happened to look over my shoes and found that the sole has separated almost completely from the upper. This is not some wear related incident as these shoes have only been worn for about 8 days, instead I am convinced that Keen shoes are now complete garbage. With 3 weeks left overseas I am forced to buy new shoes, which is not easy over here. I'll be stuck with some overly expensive and likely uncomfortable shoe. I don't want to go as far as saying Keen screwed me, but this is the final straw with a company I really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. So now it's going to be very difficult to do my 10 to 12 miles of walking and touring every day. Thanks Keen shoes, you just ruined my trip. 0 out of 5 stars.

I finally found a pair of shoes that are comfortable, the toe boxes were wide enough to not pinch and no abrasion on the back of my heels. Shoes are such an individual fit but after suffering through several well known brands I was very happy to find these.

Muy bien la medida exacta excelente calidad

Received this pair of shoes earlier than expected. It's an 11.45 (or 45 EU). Excellent fit in length and in width. I removed the insoles to accomodate the orthotics. Maybe I will be able to wear both after a few days. The leather is thick and of very good quality. As shown, I changed the shoe laces for flat and shorter ones. Which is better. The shoes are not that bulky and ugly in person. Really comfortable.
