Comparative cultural science in a great book
The author, who is a designer and connoisseur of German and Chinese culture has distilled her insights into the cultural differences into a series of poignant and funny pictogram-comparisons, bound together in a nicely crafted hardcover book. It makes a great present for anybody, who is living between Asia and Western Europe (although technically most applicable to China - Germany).

Brilliant for cross-cultural dialogue
Brilliant book showing the cultural differences between East and West. Another example of an image saying 1000 words!

If you work/live with anyone from the east.....
This is the no reading book to let you into another work of thinking. Managers, teachers, everyone really should at least borrow a copy. No words needed.

great book!
in German, but doesn't matter because the pictures are where the meaning lies. great gift for people curious about cultural differences - or experiencing them.

twelve quid for a trivial coffee-table book you can 'read' in 2 minutes
Glowing reviews from here and on HackerNews so I got it.Pros: Diagrams are sometimes clever. Physically high quality (so it won't fall apart in a hurry - you listening, O'Reilly?).Cons: Some diagrams could be better expressed with words. Some just puzzle me. But, above all there's almost nothing there.
