The hay arrived well packaged with no rips in the packaging, once opened it looked green and smells fresh, my rabbits and guinea pigs started to eat it straight away, even the fussy ones, it is also good for bedding and feels soft, in my opinion it is good value and it is lasting a long time.

I'd definitely suggest that you wear rubber gloves when pulling the hay out of the sack, its rather tightly packed which makes it difficult to get out and if you don't wear gloves be prepared to get some splinters. Besides all that the most important thing is do my guinea pigs like it, yes very much... Will definitely buy again.

Those that suggest having a large receptacle to unbale the whole bag are spot on, though if you want a really good work out it is possible to grab handfuls.They hay is good with a great mix of plant life, buns love it and after a few months we’ve barely used an eighth of the bag (even though it gets devoured faster than any hay they’ve had before). As Amazon asks to review scent, it smells and looks like real outdoor hay, rather than the processed green stuff you get in supermarkets (I wonder whether other suppliers dye their hay for the aesthetic?)Will buy again (though it could be quite some time before we need to) and in the meantime try and figure out some way of completely opening the bag and storing it in a looser form.

Beautiful slightly green and just the right moisture hay.. smelled sweet and fresh… but the best part was my horse loved it! She turns her nose up at the other hay she had lol. Brilliant I’ll buy again! Hope it stays the same high quality :)

This hay was not good! It was brown, with clumps of mud in it. It looked and I’m sure tasted bad as my rabbits didn’t like it. Waste of money.

Smelled good when first opened. Then I realised the hay was two different shades. Closer look showed a third of the bale is fairly wet! Not what I expected!
