Normson Genuine Leather Wallet –RFID Blocking Stops Credit Card and Identity Theft

I almost didn't buy this wallet because it seemed like everyone who reviewed it got it free. I always wonder if those folks can really be as unbiased as those of us who put down our hard-earned cash. Anyway, I paid full price for mine.The good news is, this is indeed a fine wallet. The leather feels nice and soft (if maybe a little slick), and it smells like leather should. It has all the pockets you could reasonably expect and it's reasonably thin. I also like that it has a dual bill area. I use one part to store currency and the other side to keep receipts.I also appreciate the fact that the manufacturer contacted my after my purchase to make sure I was satisfied.I've had this wallet for about a couple of months now, and it looks as good now as it did when it was new.

So far so good. I have not been able to check the RFID blocking capability of the wallet yet, but the wallet itself - beyond that technology - is a very good product. The design is good, and the product is well made. The part for currency is especially deep. The flip up ID will be handy, even if I have to remove the card and hand it someone for identification purposes. At this point, it was a good purchase.

I cannot verify the manufacturer claims but do question the Faraday principle application as it applies to this wallet. I am very familiar with electrical bonding and shielding. On shielding it is all important to completely encapsulate the protected item from EM and RF signals. In everything I have seen there is a physical interlocking fine mesh screen barrier. I have seen gold or copper shielding. The wallet has the fine screen which appears to suffice except it being a food over but the screening does not constitute a true encapsulated fine screen box. I have not been able as yet to test the wallet but there are variables that come into play. Such as EM and RF frequency and amplitude. There is nothing that can stop a powerful interrogating device but that could prove injurious to living matter as well.The funny thing is we as humans only see a tiny slice of the spectrum. If we saw the entire spectrum today I believe it would be blinding as there is so much we are exposed to natural and mw made.

This wallet looks and feels great to the touch but right of the box it is super huge! Measuring an easy one inch (1") in width (See images). While I have no doubt that some will be fine with this I was not and promptly returned.

It's a tad aggravating that the Amazon sellers all push for reviews right after a person receives their product. If it's not a food product, a person really can't know how something is going to hold up and other qualities that take time, so giving stars is rather more of an impression that based on reality. I do initially really like this billfold, and it seems to be made with craftsmanship and quality. I hope it holds up well as I like its style quite well.

Does not block. This was a gift for my husband and when tested at work it did not do any blocking. Its a nice wallet but we wanted the blocking protection. I ended up wrapping some plastic cards with heavy duty foil and that did the trick. A 10 cent solution. returned wallet.

Nice leather, advertised to hold up to 16 cards, it holds 7 cards comfortably. Disappointed as I carry more cards than this one can handle. The photo shows 7 card slots but the Amazon product description states "This wallet easily holds up to 16 credit cards or ID cards" To get 16 cards into this wallet they would have to be jammed in never to be removed again. Very disappointed.

I bought this wallet for my husband to replace his old non-RFID blocking wallet. He loved it! The wallet itself seems to be great quality. It's slim enough for my husband to carry in his pocket while there are multiple pockets for cards in the front & two pockets in the back for cash and receipts. It shipped quickly and the box it arrived in was very nice as well. I would highly recommend this wallet.
