Love the look of these taillights had to do a little grinding on one of harness for it to fit properly but other than that it night if you have a USA version the sequential lights won't work you'll have to buy a harness this is for the golf r not sure about the gti look at the video to see turn signal

They fit the car and with little work they were up and running.

I put these on my VW vehicle but they did not work as indicated. The turn signal did not work on either side of the vehicle. Fitting didn't quite match and required some modification on my part to prevent breaking when closing my tailgate. Certainly not worth the cost. Installation was not clear and not obvious plus there were no installation instructions included. Google to the rescue! I ended up purchasing another set for my vehicle that worked magnificently! Make sure this is really what you want before purchasing.

Installation required coding and rewiring. I spent another $130 to get the appropriate tools (including ODB11). Took a bit of work but it was well worth it and I had fun learning how to do it. The tail lights look amazing when the sequential turn signals work.

These were pretty easy to install. DAP is the best place to find installation videos for your GTI. They look great on my 2015 MK7 but I couldn't get the sequential part to work. I have the OBDeleven and tried coding but I couldn't get it to work. I have the lights set for Urban Joke. But would really love if someone could tell me how to get the sequential part to turn on. I connected the yellow wires but they didn't help.

I tried to fit it to my 2015 TDI golf. It doesn’t fit my model properly and is off a few centimeters. Some might be able to accept this, but I don’t want water leaking into my tail lights.

The lights flicker when the car is in park. I’ve tried to reach out to the seller but they’ve given me a runaround about a replacement asking me to send picture after picture. I’ve sent them a video, the order number and multiple pictures of the product labels. I would not recommend.
