Foothill Farms Ranch Dressing Mix, 12.8 Ounce

I've looked for years for a ranch dressing that might be like the ranch dressing our favorite restaurant serves. In the past when I've asked the waitstaff what it is, I've just been told "Oh..I don't know...some kind of mix they put together". This summer I asked a different waitress what they use, and she was kind enough to get me a package of it to look at. Guess what?? Foothill Farms! I'm so thrilled to have it. The package makes four gallons. I only make a quart at a time and keep the rest of the mix in a container in my freezer. The breakdown for a quart is: 2 C. buttermilk, 2 C. mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of the dry mix.

I would have like to know ahead of time that this product didn't have individual measurements. Measurements are to make to gallons.Why would everybody want to make so much of a product at once. I now have to measure out to figure out how to make reasonable amounts of dressing. Not a happy camper.

Much better deal than packets at the grocery store and tastes no different.
