Two Dollar Bill (A Stone Barrington Novel Book 11)

Too Long
The final struggle with Billy Bob went on forever! At half the length it would have been twice as entertaining. I won't be surprised to find that he fell into a garbage scow, survived and will return to hunt Stone and his family. Can a helicopter be flown without using the collective control?

Another Fun Barrington Tale
If you like Stuart Woods's writing and characters, you won't be disappointed. They're great for escapism, and they're page-turners, but there's really nothing that you haven't seen many times in his stories: everyone succeeds well at what they do, every character has either a trust fund, a divorce settlement, or a huge inheritance. No one lacks for money or means, and Barrington has no trouble getting laid. But if you enjoyed one of these books, you will enjoy all of them.

One of Stuart Woods' best Stone Barrington books
One of Stuart Woods' best Stone Barrington books. It didn't have as many "sex scenes" as most of his books, and I appreciated that. I wish Woods would learn that leaving things to the imagination is much sexier than being explicit. Woods has certainly mastered telling a good story, and this one is no exception.

Well worth your time
All of the Stuart Woods books have provided me with a great deal of entertainment. Each is different but weaves in many of the same characters as they age and go through their lives. Some of the lesser characters recur here and there, making each book more interesting. Read them in order to keep up with the movement. Thoroughly enjoyable with many plots about places and matters that I otherwise might not have been overly interested in until reading them in these books. I keep tied for more from Mr. Woods.

Another winner
Always an exciting ending. The US Attorney didn't come off as being as professional as she should have been and hopefully her character won't return. Loved Arrington's note to Stone at the end. Beautiful.

Hang on for interesting suspense !
Hang on for interesting suspense. Two Dollar Bill has plots, sub-plots, and totally unexpected scenesconstantly changing, but always holding your interest. The author does an excellent job of holding the reader's attention all the way through the book. There are no lapses of intrigue, nor does any scene seem totally forced or unbelievable.

Two Dollar Bill is a Winner, and you're not even at the track
Once again Stuart Woods weaves a tale that integrates you into the fabric. It's as though Stone, Dino, Lance and the women of the story members of your inner circle. His plot and character development make for compelling reading - you can't put it down and when you do, it's after you click to buy and download the next in the series - compelling is an understatement!
