While the netting mesh itself seems to be small enough for the job, the seams have many larger holes, allowing fry to escape into the main tank.The build of the "cage" has many rough and jagged edges, which could be an additional issue wheb attempting to install the mesh over it.Not recommended for fry, but would be OK if you needed to separate larger fish temporarily.

Good product for a quick last minute hatchery. One net was slightly too big and one was slightly too small even though they are desig ed for the same size frame. Cannot use for a long period of time without removing it and washing it as algae clings onto the fabric, so having a two pack is good as you can transfer the fish from the old to the new

Has done by babies a turn but not for new born fry as they escape as holes bigger than they are. But after a few weeks they can go in it. Has fallen apart but think my plec went on it to make it separate in one corner but other wise it’s fine thank you

Absolutely useless for my purpose… which was safe container for baby Axolotl for few days within large tank which have chiller… I guess could do for like guppy fry or something alike… half of suction cups didn’t hold at all…

This item will do the job if you manage to put it together without it breaking,Very flimsy. Poor quality plastic. Easily snaps. Netting easily torn.One net the elastic was broken when opened.Another had cracked plastic strut which broke when constructing.But what do you expect for where it was made.
