Farsi (Persian) for Beginners: Learning Conversational Farsi - Second Edition (Free Downloadable Audio Files Included) Paperback – March 2, 2021

This is a great book; the Script is accurate; it also has Pasto and Farsi symbols, so you will learn how to read and write a little of both. The only thing is a lot of the dialog is primarily Iranian Farsi and not Afgan Farsi, so you won't be able to use some of these in that regard. There is still some useful Afgan Farsi worth the buy. I love the examples and how all translations, scripts, and English are in each sample.

Very good book and in good condition

I ordered for friend. This sounds better among the other Farsi books that were available.

My general interest in languages princepally as a window on various cultures, the "Farsi for Beginners" promises to a very interesting and definitely challenging adventure.

This was perfect! I studied Arabic in school, and this book included the same fantastic forms to memorize letters and simple constructions as our curriculum there. I can't wait to try out the next book!

This book has lots of missing words and words that aren't complete. I tried to use it to build my vocabulary through flashcards but when I showed it to my Farsi teacher she said that many words were either spelled incorrectly or not spelled completely. Sometimes two different words have the same spelling and it might only consist of one letter. Did I miss the explanation for this?

I love the book. Easy to navigate and learn

Bare bones. It's a shame that there is no comprehensive book for the learning of the language. Beginner would be correct in the sense of hardly getting to a point of slight immersion in the language.
