Very flavorful, but not too spicy
Great flavor in this sauce and it was great to support a long-standing business of the KC community. This is NOT overly spicy, so do not be concerned about the Extra Hot designation.

Gift for my Cousin and his wife on the west coast
Recently moved to the Kansas City area, and my cousin, who loves BBQ, was asking me what the BBQ was like here. I told him it was great, then bought him some Gates for Christmas. I told him, it's the taste of Kansas City. He and his wife love it.

Not what I remember.
I used to eat at Gates all the time in Kansas City. But this sauce is too runny with too much vinegar and not at all what I remember. Possibly a fake product, or poorly manufactured. I will not buy again.

Great Sauce
This is the best sauce. We live where there is not a Gates so we get BBQ ribs from restaurants and put our Gates on them. Yum!
