The Kadam Pakka Rang fabric dye delivers rich and vibrant color initially, which I really liked. It’s easy to use and works well. However, after a few washes, the color started to fade noticeably despite following all instructions. For something labeled as “permanent,” I expected better longevity. It’s okay for short-term use or craft projects, but not ideal if you’re looking for lasting results.

I bought this for dyeing a faded 5 years old 100% cotton cargo of mine which was originally grey in colour but faded badly. Being a textile man myself and after spending 8 years in industrial dyeing, I was a bit sceptical about how good it will dye mainly with respect to evenness in dyeing looking into the fact that the entire process is manual and crude. However, the result has forced me to give it 5 stars mainly with respect to dyeing depth and evenness. The dyeing is very very even and even went into the crimped stitches very uniformly and no unevenness is visible in naked eye. The dyeing depth is too good (I used shade 27 Jean's Black). The process is simple and should be followed strictly. As a precaution, after dyeing the apparel should not be washed with any other material at least for 6 months to prevent colour bleed damaging other clothes. I used 2 5gms satches for colouring a heavy cotton cargo and 2 satches of fixers. Now only thing to look is how long the dye fastness will remain, mainly with respect to light and abrasion fastness. Whatever it may be, the product is very good for easy domestic application and a pack can colour 5 apparels satisfactorily. Very satisfied. I forgot to take picture of the faded apparel before dyeing so I am unable to post comparison pictures.

Its fine but I tried it in cotton as per instructions but still it became bit fader after 2-3 wash. Instead of buying new clothes, this is fine and value for money
