Replaced the OEM part, fit like a glove
Nothing to dislike, ordered on Monday was in my hand by Wednesday. Everything you need to keep the cooling system going. Great replacement for the OEM part (Westerbeke 27A) Even bought an extra one a few days later.

Not a substitute for Westerbeke 034449 kit
Gasket does not align with bolt holes. Is not a direct substitute for Westerbeke 034440 impeller kit.

First time Ive ever had an impeller break - buy OEM
I purchased this for my Westerbeke diesel and had blade shear off the impeller will less than 100 hours on it (maybe way less). Ive never had an OEM impeller fail, even after several years of not changing it. Fortunately the rogue blade was captured in the pump housing and I was able to retrieve the severed part. That said, its not worth saving a few bucks at the expense of a $10k+ repower due to overheating.

I have had to buy three in 6 months and I am averaging about 20 hours per impeller. I will not recommend this product. The material these impellers are made from is inferior and while I saved 50% on the cost they do not hold up.Damn this manufactured to fail mentality manufacturers today embrace. I will never shop Amazon again !
