I bought the hand grip strengthener for my husband who is 74 years old. He likes to play guitar but his left hand was a bit weak. He has used this hand strengthener on a daily basis and after about 2-3 weeks his grip has gotten stronger and he is now able to play his twelve string guitar again. The gripper has good handles on it and is adjustable to varying grip strengths. The color is as shown in the picture.

This seemed like a good product at first and offered adjustable resistance, which is a big plus. However, after about two weeks of light use (occasional use during my 30 minute commute) the product broke and was irreparable. The metal fitting that connects the spring to the adjustment screw broke and appears to be made of cheap pot metal that got brittle during my two weeks of use.

The markings on the side ware off over time. But it is a great product to have at the office and work on your grip throughout the day.

Really cool hand stregthener here. I have smaller hands and it works great on a medium to light setting. I read other reviews that say they broke the plastic when they cranked it up, but if thats the case they and you need to go that heavy then perhaps a more traditional metal one is better. For the average person this is perfect.

Broke after 2 month on the hardest setting getting used about 500 times a day. Boo yaaaaa!!

Ordered two of these, one for myself and one for a coworker. I was skeptical with using one of these in the office because I didnt want it to end up squeaking or being noisy! Well this is quiet, works great and already seem to notice a difference in my grip! Great for that nervous twitch!

I would say it's a pretty good product for medium range. The tension is adjustable and I would say get it if you want to use it up to 50 lbs. which is pretty good for most users. If you want to use +50 lbs then you should be willing to spend more money and get something else.

I've had two of these, and they both failed. (The two were different brands, but they all seem to be the exact same product with different labels or colors.) This one failed right out of the box! I contacted the company that sold it, and they emailed twice that they'd be glad to help make it right. Then nothing. So it's not right and this product is garbage. I bought a slightly different kind at the sporting goods store. Avoid this one.
