I like these sunglasses fairly well, but I'm giving them four stars rather than five because, as some other reviewers have noted, the claims they use as major selling points are not very true.Specifically, they don't reduce glare, day or not. Others have said they just turn the glare yellow; that about covers it. They claim to be polarized, but perhaps because of how light they yellow tint is, they do nothing for glare and little for brightness. If you want these to reduce glare at night, you'll be disappointed.However, if that's not what you want, you may like them a lot. I didn't buy them for night driving glasses, I bought them for high-contrast daytime driving glasses, and they perform in that role really well, especially on cloudy days. On sunny days, the lack of glare reduction and light blocking is a little lacking, so I usually go for amber lenses then. Putting these on on a cloudy day is like turning on the lights, because they increase contrast so much. They are really great for that purpose.Next good use case: driving at dusk. Dusk is notorious for poor contrast, with the ground dark and the sky light. Gray vehicles can just disappear into the asphalt at dusk, but these improve low-light contrast tremendously.Finally: night driving. If you use these as night driving glasses, you will find they provide modest contrast improvement in well-lighted areas, but nothing like what happens during the day or at dusk. As noted above, headlight glare won't change in any way but color. Overall, I'd say they give some improvement to night vision in well-lighted areas, but not a lot.In really dark areas, with few or no street lights, these will not improve your night vision. Just the opposite: they will reduce it. While they don't filter out much light, they do filter a little; where it's truly dark, you need every bit of light you can get, and even contrast-enhancing glasses like these will be an overall negative.Last bit: appearance. My wife says their horribly ugly. I'm sure she wishes I wouldn't wear them lol. It's true they won't win any points for style, and they actually look even worse in real life than they do in the picture lol. However, I like what they do for me so much that I dWillon't mind about how they look.Next thing I need to test is taking them fishing. That's when I'll find out for sure if they are polarized or not, since polarized lenses let you see a lot farther into the (clear) water. Will update my review whenever that happens.UPDATE: I took them fishing. These are absolutely NOT polarized. The seller should stop advertising them as such; it's misinformation at best, and a lie at worst.

I found these glasses very helpful in the evening, in poor weather and even in the sunshine. I had cataract surgery eight months ago and found that while I now had more clarity head lights in the evening continued to bother me as does the glare of the sun.The flip up mechanism enables me to shift between using the yellow lenses or not without having to take off the glasses and then search for them later when needed while driving. They are very comfortable and light weight, so it's as though you're wearing nothing extra.

I really like these fit-over glasses. They're very comfortable, I forget I'm wearing them - until I notice people staring. Yes, they're ugly. When I slip them on eye strain I didn't know I had, disappears. You still get some glare from oncoming cars at night, but it's greatly reduced. There's only one drawback for me. I like fishing on the White River in Arkansas. The yellow tint highlights reflections off waves - distracting. So I'm going to order a different color and keep these on the truck dash. By the way, the case seems substantial. I'll probably never use it for this pair. The pair I'm going to order will go in the case in the dry well of my jon boat. Which says something about the price.

My husband LOVES THESE!! He works at night and they've put in brighter bulbs that really bother his eyes. He put these on and rarely takes them off...even at home! He likes them in the sunshine too. His eyes are very light sensitive and these have made his life much better. Would for sure recommend them and buy them again.

These are nice glasses that lighten up the image significantly. However, yellow lenses have a disappointing amount of polarization. These glasses were disappointing for me because they did not eliminate the glare from reflection on water. I will be returning them.

These glasses fit most comfortable, flip up when not needed and down when needed. The yellow tint could be a jot brighter, but it does the job. I like this so much I ordered a second pair with gray lenses for tremendously bright days.

PERFECT!! Love these glasses and use them daily. They are excellent for night driving. It gives you a nice yellow view but not bothersome. They really cut down on the headlight glare. Also, these glasses are excellent for bright sunlight. Highly recommend this product and this seller!!

My husband’s eyes are very sensitive to sun. Theses glasses help him see without making everything to dark.
