works exactly as indicated
honestly after buying this I deeply considered cancelling my purchase, but I'm glad I decided not to. my biggest concern was its wear on the s pen tips and quality of color. don't get me wrong, the tips have worn down slightly and the colors look slightly different/more grainy, though that is to be expected of a matte screen protector. for its price, the protector looks better and is less destructive of my tips than expected. it's worth it for the texture and lack of fingerprints.after buying it my biggest problem was with the installation, and that's because I was generally doing a poor job in a dusty room. as a suggestion, try to find a room with a decent air flow and tilt the screen up slightly to prevent particles from landing on it. I got some particles on the protector but was able to remove them by lifting the protector and lightly pressing the included dust-removal sticker to the areas.if you're buying this for drawing, it may feel strange at first and you might be concerned for the s pen, but you will likely adjust as I did (though I bought more s pen tips just in case). if you're also a mobile gamer, this is great for making swift flicking motions on the screen. I play many different rhythm games on this tablet and found it's much easier for scrolling and flicking than without this screen protector.

Matte finish and a wonderful texture/sound!
Comes with very clear instructions (never knew how they wanted people to use those guide stickers everything comes with!), and feels so nice to touch! I won't say it's exactly like paper to touch or hear, but it's a lot better than glass! Didn't have any trouble installing and the card inside pushed out pretty much all the bubbles! Very functional, love the matte finish - no glare! I can read in the light now! I'm not sure on durability yet, hopefully it holds up. I'm wondering if it might be a good idea to put this on top of a tempered glass piece? Not sure. But so far, it's great!

Those negative reviews were…
The media could not be loaded. …Those negative reviews were right about the difficulty of getting every speck of dust off the glass screen before laying down the plastic screen protector. It’s impossible to see the tiny specks of dust until the protector is in place.I’m adding to their reviews that the speck of invisible dust was not visible until I tried removing the air pockets.I lifted the plastic protector only to discover that the speck of dust adhered to the plastic adhesive on the protector.Oh yes it did.So I took the little blue adhesive dust lifter and rubbed the adhesive on the plastic protector to force the tiny speck onto the little blue adhesive pad…and then to my horror, another tiny speck of dust appeared. This was repeated multiple times. The result is that I now have micro bubbles that may or may not disappear in a few hours. I’ll work on this project tomorrow. But you didn’t read this far just to see this one negative experience, right? If you’re an expert, you won’t have any problems at all putting on a silly old plastic screen protector.Oh, did you know that with pets, there’s hair floating around that is attracted to the slightly paper feeling or - fine sandpaper feeling screen protector?Yes, floating pet hair that we can’t see lands onto the tablet like it’s a magnet. More specks of dust are attracted to it too.I plan to try this screen saver for a little bit, but remove it when my glass screen protectors arrive. So what did I like about this matte screen protector?1) The screen protector does what it’s advertised to do which is give a warm paper-like feeling to the screen - actually the bottom of the screen is very warm with the screen protector on it. I have attached a video so you can hear the scratchy sound the table makes and the hair that becomes visible while using a finger to move across the screen.2) The product came with all the supplies necessary to apply the screen protector. At this price point, I do believe more of the blue sticky tape should be supplied to remove dust and a backup screen protector too.3) The matte screen protector allows touch to transfer through to the glass screen.4) I have a divided opinion on the sound. The surface itself has a scratchy sound when touched with the finger. With the pen, the sound actually is amplified through the speakers and I can’t turn off the speaker sound. That’s just weird. This means the entire time I use the sPen in a meeting, everyone can hear it.I don’t hear any sound when I use the rubberized tip of a stylus - but - I can’t handwrite or draw with a rubberized stylus with the Samsung S6 Lite.I’ll need to change the sPen settings to stop the sound. My point is that this screen amplifies the sound of the sPen.I may need to save the packaging and save this screen protector for something else or maybe use for Zoom meetings to stop the harsh glare. On the other hand, I kinda like the interactive sound and tactile feeling of this screen protector.I purchased extra sPen nibs just in case other reviewers’ warnings about this screen protector wearing out sPen nibs are correct.Even negative reviews are beneficial when buyers cannot touch samples. At this price, I probably won’t buy another of these screen protectors.Would I recommend to friends and family this matte screen protector with a paper-like fine sandpaper feel?If the person really liked the tactile texture and feeling and the extra sound when writing, then it’s absolutely perfect for those ASMR loving folk.If you’re unsure if this product is for you, read some other reviews and see if this is right for you.Be clear, I’m not disappointed. Why? Because I read the positive and the negative reviews.I underestimated the difficulty of removing invisible dust, finding the dust stuck to the adhesive side of the screen protector, the double sound of the sPen with a Samsung S6 Lite. The tablet is new to me so the fault may be with my tablet settings for the sPen.If you are a tactile person, like ASMR, or you want to minimize glare, this is the screen protector for you.To be clear, if I angle the tablet towards a ceiling light, the can clearly see the ceiling light reflection but it’s muted - less shiny. One of the photos shows the reflection of a ceiling light.I’ve written the information I wish I had before purchasing this product. I hope you found some of the information beneficial.Happy shopping!Cheers~

Amazing art tool... but not great for gaming/video!
I got the galaxy tab to use with Clip Studio, which I already use on my PC and with a Wacom tablet. I've heard that drawing on a smooth screen can be a little bit off-putting and have heard these type of protectors recommended by other artists. There is a very slight distortion because of it, and I don't know how much it will actually protect the screen from drops or anything... but I didn't get it for that reason. "Paperlike" screen protectors are an art tool and for that, this is amazing. It feels like sketchbook paper, and you can feel the paper tooth texture when drawing. It went on incredibly well and has enough of a gap around the edges that I use a case with it to actually protect the tablet. I'm not sure about how it will wear the nibs on my s-pen, but those are easy enough to replace. I think most artists know that these textured screens can wear nibs quickly, but that's the tradeoff for not needing to re-train yourself to draw on a glass like surface. As far as image distortion, I'd say it's similar to my 2014 Cintiq 13? So not the most amazingly clear but pretty standard ime.Overall, very pleased with it! Very clear and easy to apply, not too thick it really distorts the image, but I'm using it as an art tool and not a general purpose tablet screen protector. If you just need a screen protector and mostly watch video/game/social media, you will be extremely disappointed. Tempered glass is what you need, not this.

Don't waste your money
Ordered one and it came with a bunch of white fuzz on the screen protector. No way to clean it off. Sent back and they sent another one. Applied next one to a clean screen and when applied eneded up with a bunch of micro bubbles. It said that it would come out but it didn't. Ended up taking it off and trashing. It. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
