I try not to use Pre-Workout due to the tingly jittery feeling I get on my arms. Ladder tastes good and it seems to be effective. I take it on the mornings I wake up at dawn to go road bike for long distances and it seems to last through out my ride. Afterwards I am not completely awake, so I am able to relax for the rest of the day. Other pre-workouts keep me up til midnight even if I take them at 5am.

I’m only taking this product for the creatine. The caffeine helps for the extra boost.

I got the individual packets of the strawberry lemondade preworkout because I took a trip to Asia and din't want to haul around an open tub. After 4 days of use, I'm disgusted Lebron, Arnold and others put their names on this. I already felt the ingredient profile was subpar and the cost was high for a pre with a lack of ingredients but I was struggling to find individual packs of anything else on short notice. Add the BRUTAL flavor and the product is an absolute disaster! It doesn't taste good going down and the bad taste just lingers in your mouth after.As for ingredients?Why does a preworkout need 6 gs of sugar? If that's the case, then it should taste great but it doesn't. 6 gs of L Citrulline is the bottom of the recommended 6gs to 8gs range. Beta Alanine dosing should be 3.2 to 6.4 per day. Splitting dosing is recommended but unlikely in many cases so you commonly see 3.2 gs+ in preworkouts. Ladder has 1.6gs. Even other companies trying to sell you a post workout put 2gs in their pre then 2gs in the post. There's just as much theanine as caffiene which completely washes out the caffeine. I put theanine in heavily caffeinated pres that don't have it but never a 1:1 ratio. 5 gs of creatine monohydrate. That's the right amount to supplement with daily after a loading phase of monohydrate but creatine is cheap so big woop. Then there's PS in it for energy. That's all the active ingredients and its priced at the high side of the market with other products that include wayyyy more of an ingredient range and at higher doses. I would have rather you lied to me with a misleading label of proprietary blends than just telling me I was getting screwed.

As a pre-workout supplement, it's awesome. Definitely able to do more for longer. But the idea of putting the box in an envelope for shipping is just plains stupid. Luckily in my case, none of the product was damaged but I'm sure Ladder's Marketing team that designed the box it comes in is thrilled about how said box ended up looking like a preschool origami project...

Very good pre workout drink. Helps both with energy and recovery during the workout itself.

I had a great workout after taking this, no jitters just a solid workout and great motivation. But the taste is horrible, it was hard to even chug this. I’m going to keep it and suffer because I have no time to get or find another pre workout with creatine in travel packs before I go on vacation, but I don’t think I’ll be using it after my vacation so it’s kind of a waste getting this many.

I never used to take energy supplements before my workouts, but Ladder Energy has been a game changer.It really boosted the intensity of my workouts without any anxiety or weird side effects.I usually get the tingly effect (which I really like) and it goes away once I start working out.I highly recommend this product if you are looking for that clean energy boost!
