With a little tweaking, you’ll have lifelike orchids!
I purchased these 2 orchid stems to construct a faux double stem orchid plant. Bending the top portion as a natural orchid will tend to do with so many large flowers, did not give me the impression of a real orchid. (Initially I thought as many other reviewers felt as the flowers were larger than I expected.) The flowers were smushed together and didn’t face in the correct direction. So after I looked at a lot of double stem real orchid plants, I started removing 5 flowers from the bottom of each stem. (The flowers cut off can be saved for making leis.) I then bent the stem in a more natural curve, yet now I noticed that the flowers weren’t facing in a natural direction as some were upside down. So with some gentle manipulation, I was able to maneuver them to the correct placement. I also curled the bottom of the stems so I could hot glue them to the bottom of the pot, keeping one stem slightly higher than the other.I also purchased the larger pack of 2 leaf bundles from the same company and carefully separated all parts so the leaves and roots were now sorted by shape. You see, I had purchased another faux orchid flower stem several months ago when my real orchid plant lost its flowers yet the leaves remained. Eventually the leaves died also so I have another faux orchid stem in a different variety. So I now had 10 leaves and 2 root sections. I saved the 4 smallest leaves for the smaller orchid purchased earlier and divided the remaining 6 between the 2-stem plant I was constructing. I cut a small portion of one of the roots for my 3rd orchid. I’ll probably paint the roots a healthy light green color later on as I believe that will add to the realistic look and somehow make the roots appear fuzzy as they tend to be in real life. I guess I could scrape some white flocking off an old plastic ornament or maybe there’s some to buy on Amazon!😁I also purchased some dry, pressed spaghum moss to add to the pot to fill it up. You have to rehydrate it to fluff it up and then let it dry.All in all, this was an excellent value for the money because I’ll now have a realistic orchid plant that actually look and feels real because the flowers and leaves are so thick. Not that anyone is supposed to touch a real orchid plant - cuz they’re not! Initially I thought the color was going to be brighter than I preferred yet it’s beautiful and looks great!

Orchid lover/killer
Heavyweight, very realistic looking and feeling. Would definitely buy more. Little pricey, but worth it. Paired with real plant, not flowering currently.

Large and looks realistic
Sturdy good quality orchid stems, that look realistic, large, and full. They bend, so you can shape them for whatever arrangement you need. The company, Fnise also makes the bottom orchid leaves if you're going for a potted look with moss, which were also great quality.
