My boys played with a solid color fun gripper football over Thanksgiving at their aunt and uncle's house and had a riot. This was the #1 wish for my 8 year old on his Christmas list. When I got on Amazon and found an MSU one, I knew he would be thrilled and I was right! So much fun with this football! My non-sporty 12 year old enjoyed tossing it around as much as my 18 month old ball-obsessed toddler. The only bad part was when our our dog got a little too rough and punctured it.:( big tears around here! I ordered another one because we had so much fun with it. My only suggestion, don't let your dog get ahold of it. I plan to order these as birthday gifts for friends, as so many kids have had a blast playing with it. I asked my son why is so much more fun than any other football, he says it's because that grippy stuff makes it so easy to catch .
