These are easy to put in. Once you get the old one out, it's literally 2-2-3... They work perfectly.

ledd filling if you only get a small cup, taste great if you get a big cup, I now use my water jugs from the big stores and refill them from my fridge I taste no difference and this filter gets out all the chlorine as well, living in Michigan surrounded by lakes and uhhh a former yes I am part of that problem from years ago smh :( but this filter gave me back my trust in water filters because the others take out the taste this one does not. I would gladly put this filter up against fancy bottled water any day of the week!!!

I liked the price 3 for $41.00 for Golden IcePure filters . But when I come to install it ,the filter did lock into lock position , so I tried a second filter thinking the first may be defective but it also didn't lock into the lock position .After all that I decided to put the old filter back on , to my surprise it also would not go to th lock position .Closely examining the old filter to the new filter , they don't compare at all . The Golden IcePure filter wrecked my housing .In all the 20 years we have never had this problem using the every drop 6 filter # 4396508Now I am stuck to buy a new housing

Does not fit whirlpool as advertised. It caused leakage but, thankfully, no damage. Ended up putting my old filter back in until I can get a proper replacement. VERY disappointed and would not recommend.

Seems good. Fits perfectly on my kitchen aid side by side refrigerator. Water coming out tastes good. Just ensure that when you first replace the old filter with a new one, run about 1-2 gallons out of it. You may also notice that the water may not stop immediately, this is normal. Just ensure you have a big jug to catch the water. Water flow seems to be much better than the original one.

I do not know why they say it would fit fit Whirlpool Fridge water filter NL 300 and/or EDR5RXD1 and 4396508. It did NOT. The tip was bigger diameter than the original one.But I am happy with amazon's return policy service which promptly sent me a return label for a free shipment return.

Reading reviews, people seem to assume these non-oem filters are a lot less quality than the oem ones? I did some research and there is no information good or bad about the oem filters, however there was a lot of info on the icepure.. the company has a website with pics of the factory etc. From the info provided they look possibly even better than the oem filters? the parts used inside are similar materials (coconut shells etc). The biggest difference is these cost 2 to 3 times less. I also contacted the company to ask a question and received a response within the day and a very clear response! very rare nowadays. I've been using this filter now for a while and the water seems excellent. without actually testing it it's impossible to tell which filter works better but I'll be buying these from now on!!
