I am not the most handy individual. To be honest, when I opened up the box I was a little intimidated. Thankfully, that was all for nothing!I got under my pellet box and saw that the colors of the wires on my traeger matched the wires on the new controller.Total switch out took about 15 minutes and that was done by someone who doesn’t do theses types of things haha. I’m guessing an experienced person would’ve been able to complete the task in 5-10 minutes.I fired it up and it’s working great so far. My old controller wasn’t wanting to go above 230 degrees on my last smoke, this one is getting up to any temp I set it at.Very happy with my deck to replace the controller as opposed to buying a new smoker.Assuming it continues to work well, I would highly recommend this.

I alao had to buy a temperature rod for the main temp. It comes with the two meat probes but i uograted an old traeger that didnt have a temperature se.sor before. Love.it. many P settings to choose from

The ease of install was welcoming. Color coded/identified connects was really “plug and play”. I was able to upgrade my OEM thermostat to this dual-prob equipped unit very easily.

Worked like a champ as soon as we installed it. Gave new life to our old Traeger. The meat probes are a nice add.

Took a while to install and am past the return window but taking out and throwing in the trash and won’t order from this seller again. This item has a “P” setting but it doesn’t follow standard traeger settings which means it doesn’t produce enough smoke and puts you at risk of a grill fire. Ultimately, it feeds pellets way too quick, even at the highest P setting (at a p setting I timed it at 34 seconds between auger engaging) . Don’t buy. Spend a little more money on something better . Wish I could get my money back or a replacement that worked correctly

When I purchased this I was skeptical and figured I would have to do mods to my Traeger to fit. I purchased it anyway What a great decision. This controller was plug and play. The fitment was like OEM. This added features that I didn't have with my Traeger OEM controller. The price is right as well.

This fixed my Traeger! I fought with my Traeger for months because it could not hold temperatures below 375. I tried literally everything: read all online forums, watched YouTube videos, and replaced every component, including the controller. The controller I initially bought from another brand was the older version of this one, which had the red digital numbers but no probes. It didn't work. I finally figured I'd try upgrading to this one. It resolved all of my problems!

I was thrilled at first, worked great. Second time the temperature display would go bonkers, the auger would feed pellets non-stop and it started a fire in my smoker. Thank goodness I was nearby. I could not reach the seller to make a warranty claim and left a negative review. After a while the seller contacted me and is sending a warranty replacement controller at no charge.
