Fast Peyote Stitch Jewelry

Love this book and fast peyote which I only just recently learned. Am working on the butterfly pattern in the book and it moves quickly with this awesome technique. Am hopeful that this author will release another fast peyote pattern book soon since once you begin using that technique, you want more patterns to chose from. Haven't figured out how to (or if I can) adapt fast peyote to regular peyote patterns. If anyone knows how, that would be great to know. Meanwhile, this is a great book, fairly priced. A magnification bar to help read the small print on the pattern rows is also helpful when doing the projects. I also print out the pattern so I don't break the spine of the book while I am working the pattern. Please write another book--this one is great!

I have dyslexia so understanding how the stitch worked was difficult for me. I think the instructions could have been a little better visually. Instead of using all green beads in the back to illustrate the stitches it would have been helpful to use different colors or perhaps illustrate the thread patterns in different colors. It took me many many tries to get it right but that is because of the way my brain processes. Reading the patterns from right to left is also difficult. I wonder if it makes a difference if you read left to right. Once I did understand it correctly, it was easy.

This book is actually pretty good for a beginner. The patterns are easy to follow and the images are clear. I bought this for a young relative and she grasped the idea of the Peyote stitch well thanks to this book. It may be too basic for those who are more advanced with the technique; but for those who are not, it's a nice start.

The more I look through this book the more excited I get about making one of these bracelets/cuffs. The pictures are clear. The instructions are easy to read. It's the perfect book for a beginner, like me.

I love this book. I've made 4 bracelets already and can't wait to create more. For the best results use top quality seed beads such as TOHO or MIYUKI.

Love this book. I had never done 3 drop peyote before and this has some gorgeous patterns although i would have liked more instruction on how to do 3 drop. I found it elsewhere so it wasnt too much of a problem but as a pattern book its gorgeous.

I am a complete beginner to peyote stitch and I am utterly struggling although this book is for beginners. Its the first 2/4 rows I cannot get to grips with and have been stuggling for days now trying to get started. For me a link to a tutorial is needed. Please Josie Fabre (author) if you read this please help me!!!

I'm fairly new to beading. I had a chance to look at my friend's book before ordering. Instructions seem to be easy to follow. I made one bracelet so far.

I've made two of the bracelets so far but I had a heck of a time figuring out how to do two drop peyote. When I finally got it, with the help of You Tube, I felt a great deal of accomplishment.
