I bought two of these for my boat. Both are now installed. They are direct hook up only. Automatic activation. Works great.

I used this to pump pool cover pockets of water. Oak tree pollen stringers are a problem due to clogging up pump. But worked around that. Very fast pumping.

Good value for the money pumps strong . I'm on my second one because the last one sucked up trash and burnt up you would think they would make the filter filter out anything that would harm the pump but I guess they didn't think that was important. Could have a better filter but besides that it does what it's supposedly to

I have a boat where you can't tell if it's getting water in it. So every hour I'd turn on my pump just to make sure. Now I have peace of mind knowing that it will turn on if it does. I still check to make sure it works before every outing by turning the knob on the bottom to see if it kicks on if it does no more worrying.

Seemed pretty difficult to adapt this pump to my existing flex tube. Had a difficult time trying to make an adapter with parts from a local hardware store. Works like a champ but shouldnt have thought these all have a standard output size.
