Snow Fight: A Warcraft Tale

My son is 5 and is growing up in a household that embraces video games. From an early age, I've been playing games and well into my adult life, I'm still doing so. It's natural for me to want to share that love with my son, but some games just aren't appropriate for 5 year olds. World of Warcraft is one such game. I've been playing WoW since 2004 and it has become a huge part of my adult life. My son knows of it, but isn't able to play it, but through this book I can share a little bit of the magic of the game world with him.Centered around Arthas, Thrall, and Varian Wrynn the book is a lighthearted approach to friendship and overcoming differences. Parents who enjoy the game will love reading it to their little ones all the while professing how they have known these same characters for years.If you're a fan of the game or just want a novel book written by a wonderful world builder (Christ Metzen is the guy behind Warcraft after all) then look no further.Also...FOR THE ALLIANCE!

My 2y/o really enjoys this book, except the page where (spoiler!) Varian gets hit in the face. He gets pretty upset at that part so we skip the page. One day, he may have to skip the entirety of the legion intro scenario.

This book is written in a kid friendly manner. I love World of Warcraft and the retired founder of that super game wrote this book for kids. Parents should read this with your children.

Some cute pictures but the story could be much better.

If you love Warcraft at all this is a wonderfully cute book about Arthas being defeated through kindness. The art is also great, as most Warcraft art is.

The story and art is great in this book. I am very happy to have found it. I read it with my child a few times a week and they enjoy it.

So cute I just love the art and being a long time fan of World of Warcraft I found it very entertaining and can wait to share it with my littles

I have played World Of Warcraft since 2004 both me and girlfriend love the whole franchise so when we saw this we knew our daughter (3 almost 4) would love the book as she plays WoW sometimes.It was a bigger hit than we expected and she reads it most nights.This is a must for parents who wish to introduce their kids to the world of warcraft. :-)

I brought this to read to my son who has an extremely short attention span! The illustrations alone kept him hooked long enough for me to power read through it and he did actually enjoy it. Which is great when I secretly brought it for myself because i'm a huge wow nerd :D

Lovely book, as a world of Warcraft fan it’s great to be able to introduce the characters to my children. As soon as it arrived my youngest (5 years old) sat down to read it. Great story, teaches children about bullies and minding your temper.
