Not ideal for all vegetable but does protect the hand when grating.

When I first viewed these I thought - marvellous idea, genius! - as was sick of risking grating fingers. However I grate alot of cheese, and I have found these absolutely destroy the block of cheese being grated into crumbs, so ended up disappointing and pointless for cheese (dogs won out of scraps though). Havent tried it on anything else yet, but is an absolute no-no for cheese from me sorry.

Nice idea in principal but you need to hold on to a big chunk of what your grating so it doesn't get grated!

The picture showed a person holding the finger guard with their right hand. It works well with either hand, it is easy to clean, and it doesn't take up a lot of room in the storage drawer. It protects your fingers when using a knife, a grater, or a mandoline. It is the best gadget that I have ever purchased

Mega gut. Schützt die Finger und hält gut das Schnittgut fest. Der Preis ist hoch. Trotz des hohen Preises würde ich es wieder kaufen. Wobei ich glaube, dass es ewig halten wird.

This item is great when shredding, slicing etc on vegetable.

This little gadget is exactly what I was looking for. Freshly grated cheese on a box grater is the best... but I was always cutting my fingers. this little guard works to prevent that.
