Fully Torqued Racing Boss 302 Replacement Aluminum Front Splitter Lip Support Rod (Pair)

These support rods for the Laguna Seca splitter are fantastic. My factory rods started to have a great deal of play after a few track days and less than a year on the car. These have been on my car for almost a year now and been to multiple track days and there isn't a hint of play in them. Very well built and have really stabilized my splitter. Great piece!

It was 530pm on a cool, breezy Thursday evening in San Diego. I had just gotten home from work after being notified by Amazon that a package had arrived for me there. I pulled my car in the garage with the utmost anticipation as to what I had received. I ran inside to the front corridor with much haste and opened the front door to see an innocent and subtle package sitting at my front door. "What could it be?", I wondered. I began to look at the label, then thought to myself, "I should open the package as if I were Ray Charles attempting to drive a car!" Keeping myself blind to the clues on the exterior of this finely sculpted box but at the same time increasing the adrenaline and suspense level of what could it be. So I began opening the box, ever so gingerly to not disturb its contents. As the box began to let air escape out of the top from cutting the seal, an aroma of manliness over came me. Did I need to go to the bathroom? Or was it the contents of the box? At this point I couldn't tell, but pressed on with the opening of this 4 dimensional cardboard container of magic. After hearing the seductive sound of the tape popping as I pulled on the tabs with gentle force I became aware of what I had ordered.I sat there in amazement and what I had seen. There sat two shiny cylindrical objects, thick and hard all the way from the base to the tip. The craftsmanship of these cylindrical objects left me in a state that can only be described as utter bliss as tears of joy began to roll down my face. Knowing that these magnificent pieces of artwork were crafted by an American engineer gave me the utmost comfort knowing that these "rods" as they are called, will be ready for any task I have for them. As I began to play with my new rod, it became increasingly apparent how simple they are to adjust and extend. A few gripful turns of the hand and the Rod would extend out and when I was done I could just retract back in. Truly an engineering marvel that will only be seen from "Fully Torqued Racing". After playfully tugging on my Rod for a few hours or so, I decided it was time to put them to good use so I ran out to the garage to grab my power tools to turn this solo into an orchestra.I immediately grabbed my drill and began lubing up the shaft of the bit to ensure the hole for my new Rod to slip in would be a clean and tight space, which is imperative to ensure the Rod is put to good use in that hole. I began drilling, ever so gently and just straight into the areas I had marked for both ends of that Rod, the base and the tip, to slide into. Never have I seen such a good fit for a Rod before, clearance was tight but perfect for maximum efficiency and pleasure. I began to extend my Rod out to get it at the angle I wanted to inside the hole, It began to thrust itselfin, deeper and deeper until it was a fraction of an inch from destroying the sides. I, as sweaty and out of breath as I've ever been, decided that this would be the perfect finishing point, the glory shot, if you will. I took a few pictures of my work as I finished and wiped the glistening sweat from my brow and just admired what I had accomplished in just a mere 20 minutes.These rods have now been in my rear for over a year. No sign of stress or stretch marks anywhere and quite possibly the greatest investment I've ever made. Never have I gotten such great pleasure from a Rod before. FTR satisfies me in the way that their competitors never could.
