What a piece of JUNK, did not say used anywhere on this page, it came cracked, fins bent and still had old heat sink compound on it. The fan did not work, I guess you get what you pay for that is for certain.

Good fan and heat sink but back plate was broken
The fan and heat sink seems to work well. I like how you can unscrew the fan and replace it if the bearings go out on it. The heat sink is about 3 times thicker or higher than the original junky Intel heat sink that came with the CPU.I was not thrilled that I needed to remove the motherboard in order to mount the back plate so that the cooler could mount to the motherboard but I got over it. The two way tape that came with the back plate did not work at all. I had to hold the back plate with one hand and turn the three screws with the other hand while aligning the holes.What I REALLY did not like was the fact that the back plate came broken with the broken piece missing. This means that it did not break in shipping. The back plate was already broken but was sold like this anyway.I ordered this as same day shipment for a reason. The original, junky Intel fan went out on a system that I built for someone else so I wanted to get it back up and running ASAP.This means that I had to mount the cooler with only three screws instead of four. I do not think that the cooler will fly off because of this. I just really do not appreciate purchasing something as new, with same day shipping only to have the item come broken. Where is the quality control here? Somebody owes me some money back to make up for this broken back plate.

I think this is actually 82mm not 80mm
I have an 80mm heatsink I am trying to replace and this is slightly larger at 82mm. That means the screws don't align with the original holes and I have to return it. It is nice that it comes with a backplate but I'm not drilling new holes on my motherboard!

Good fan
Just needed the fan, the bearings went out on mine, got really loud, easy to swap out, will keep the heat sink, never know when I'll need one??

Quiet runner
