Wine Aerator Set (Black)

Overall, this is one of the better aerators out there and for a great price for the 2 pack. It didn't start out that way and had a situation where the first 2 I bought developed some cracks. I ended up buying 2 more and my wife noticed that there was a warranty card in it (Hint - look in the box for the warranty card), so I followed the instruction to see if I can get the first 2 replaced. Some time by and I thought it was bogus, but then out of the blue I received a response. Ralph informed me that the cracks are caused by putting them in the dishwasher so (HAND WASH ONLY)... I figured that out prior to the response, and in any case, he confirmed my suspicion and the ones from the second purchase are holding up very well. It is good to see when merchants honor their claims, and I would definitely buy again from them.

Great price, works well, nice as a gift or for your wine cupboard, I've only ever used it with red wines, it brings out the flavors and can help mellow the tannins which is great. Just steadily pour your wine from the bottle through the aerator into the glass and enjoy. Seems well built and durable.

These get the job done! They are small but easy to clean.

We have been enjoying this aerator for several years. Actually, we just received the second one since the first was not at its peak after several years of use. It’s so easy to just pop this into the bottle and pour away. It is small but mighty and helps remove the taste of tannins. We like the idea of aerating wine but sometimes the devices are bulky or inconvenient. This one gets the job done without having to make it a hobby.

I'm a wine professional, and take my word for it - this is a really excellent little wine tool to keep handy. Here's why I like it: 1. Effectiveness. First and foremost, it does the job. This is a huge time saver for serving red wine - I don't need to decant a bottle for 30 minutes before I drink it with this baby. I do find that if I want more aeration than about 30 minutes in a decanter provides, I need to either run it through the aerator multiple times (annoying if you're not into using a funnel to get every drop of wine back into the bottle to aerate again) or give my glass some extra swirling - easy enough, and standard with any aerator. And honestly, I usually find 30 minutes of decanting is enough for most wines; the wine will continue to evolve in the glass, and I like to enjoy the experience. 2. Simplicity. The aerator is designed to split the stream of wine into multiple smaller streams as you pour, exposing more of it to oxygen and speeding along the breathing process. This "opens up" your wine quickly and efficiently, without needing any other bells and whistles that would make it more difficult to clean. 3. Presentation. The spout is plastic, which makes sense at this price point but which I initially thought felt a bit cheap. As soon as I popped it on a bottle and started to pour, however, I saw that the wine stream actually looked just as lovely as it does in a glass spout. Visually, it definitely adds appeal without all the pomp and circumstance (and difficulty cleaning) a decanter provides. A nice touch. 4. Size. I owned a few aerators before this one, but none were as small and therefore portable as this one. It's a great party trick to pull it out of your purse to accompany the bottle of wine you brought, and it's handy for vacations as well. (What vacationer doesn't need wine?) I do want to be clear that as a wine professional, I did receive this aerator for free - but this review is fully honest and I'm writing it because I truly think this a great tool to have in your wine cabinet arsenal. All that said, I wholeheartedly recommend this aerator, especially for those that don't yet have any aerating tools (or those who own a decanter that they never use because they shudder to think of how annoying it will be to clean). This is a no-fail, can't mess it up, great little tool for any wine lover, but I especially recommend it for those who are newer to wine or are looking to elevate their experience without too much fuss. The price point for 2 aerators is great, but after only a couple uses and trying to wash it with soap, it looks like soap bubbles got trapped inside the plastic. I rinsed, soaked, rinsed with clean water and could not get the soap out. It's probably OK to use but not great to know there may be some soap in my wine... Decent product but there must be better ones out there at both aerating as well as not having gaps within the plastic

I previously used a Vinturi aerator or just threw a whole bottle in a decanter, put my hand over the top and gave it a good shake so I could open the wine up a little faster (especially if we decided to randomly open a great bottle with guests over). After a few drinks the decanter shake becomes risky, and the Vinturi was nice but you ran the risk of spilling due to overfilling the aerator and you had to be fairly precise pouring through the aerator into your glass. The TenTen Labs aerator that was sent to me eliminates a lot of that excess and really simplifies the process of aerating your wine. If you’re just popping open a burner bottle and want to open it up a little, this is a handy device. I used it alongside the Vinturi to see if one outperformed the other, and they were eerily similar when it came to actual taste enhancement. The only downside to the TenTen Labs aerator was that it doesn’t have a screen to catch sediment or cork. Here is the breakdown. Pros: Attaches to bottle, simplifying the process of aeration. Aerated wine just as well as devices that are double or triple the price. Cons: Doesn’t have a screen to prevent sediment or cork from making your wine gritty. Not as aesthetically pleasing as a decanter. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone drinking younger wines at home that don’t have sediment or cork issues over the Vinturi.

I’m amazed that something this simple can make such a noticeable difference to wine. I blind-tested it with a bottle of red and the improvement was dramatic — much smoother and more enjoyable. The tapered design means it fits every bottle I’ve tried and it’s very easy to clean. Great value too, with two in the pack, and it arrived with a friendly note and a promise of good customer service.
