Broll Pro Bucket Cart with Bag

This is a super wonderful product. It s made well, very study. The assembly was easy with very good directions

Works great with the bucket, could not figure out how to put the bag on, instructions were not clear and i just could not figure it out. It was a little pricey for what you get.

I have looked forward to getting a Broll ever since it first came out, and finally ordered one this year. Now, if I can only put it together...! Like some other customers, I have been unable to get past step one of the assembly instructions, because the main hole of the uprights are too small to slide onto the metal tubing. I tried their suggestion of lubing it with soapy water, to no avail. Next, I tried some water-based personal lubricant, which is far more slippery than soap, also to no avail. I tried using a rubber hammer and finally got one on, but have been unable to get things lined up perfectly for the screw and bolt, and accidentally broke off a piece of the plastic upright. I give up. Back it goes.

I saw this product in action not long ago and thought it was a neat idea. I received one as a gift yesterday and thought I'd assemble it today. I have officially given up and put everything back in the box after having spent nearly an hour trying to complete just the first step of the assembly. The holes in the wheel brackets that are supposed to go on the frame are too small to go on the frame. I will have to ream the holes out before being able to assemble this product. I suspect that once I've managed to assemble this product that I will enjoy it greatly, but for now this is getting a two star rating. Something that costs as much as this does should never have these kinds of problems.

I'm a skeptic so I tried my friend's Broll out first. It works well as far as moving dead weight a whole lot easier than carrying in a backpack. You need a fairly level surface to traverse (no downed logs or big rocks) so it has limitations on rough terrain. I wish the wheels were even bigger and that the handle grip was more ergonomic. The standard rubber grip will most likely come unglued and slip off as mine did already. Gripping while pulling on long trips became tiresome so I ended up customizing the handle grip with an old "breakaway" ski pole grip. This eliminated a lot of cramping and excess fatigue in hands already worn out from breaking rocks and digging all day with hand tools. I also plan on tweaking the bends in the handle (when I get my hands on a conduit bender) as the stock one best accommodates someone quite tall (over 6') the best. The jury is out as to longevity, however it looks like it will serve a long and useful life. The bag is a worthless item in my opinion; just use a 5 gallon bucket. All in all I'm pleased with the purchase and will be giving it a real workout. The Broll breaks down easily and fits in my trunk. I added a bit of grease to the pins at the end of the handle where it inserts to keep releases easy. I hope the plastic ring holding the bucket holds up under the weight of a full bucket of rocks over many trips. I'll update my review in 6 months.Update - OK - I'll upgrade to 4.5 stars since it's been two years and the Broll is still rolling. It's proving to be a must have in the world of rock and mineral collecting.

We love our Broll. We have taken it on many rock hounding events and always get asked where to get one. Of course we mention Amazon because that was the best price we found. It makes moving heavy loads easy. I have taken it into the hills with me and with the 2 large wheels it easily moves over small rocks and weeds. You just have to be careful not to bottom out on large rocks. The only thing I would have liked better is if it was made of aluminum. It can get heavy when it is loaded up. (But that is my fault :). We also added a small flag pole so we can easily spot it when we are looking around.

I have been needing this for a long time. It is a great design. It rolls easy even with a full 5 gallon bucket of gravel. The cart is well built and should provide years of service.

Works very well with no nasty surprises. Handles very well with a full bucket of rocks over uneven ground. The long handle makes a load feel much less heavy than in a wheel barrow.
