Narural
My daughter bought this kind of hairspray to replace my old brand, because the smell was too strong for her and her infant. She is also careful with chemicals in products. I kept ordering it since. It has a very light scent when you first apply it, and natural ingredients. It’s not cheap, but it meets the purpose. Works well on hair, it doesn’t make it greasy.

Smells nice and holds well
I was skeptical about the hairspray but it works well. I am pleased with the results. The smell is nice and there is no more complaining from the husband about the overbearing smell of fog of the old hairspray. Holds my curls just fine.

Too sticky
This hairspray is really sticky. It's fine for when you need medium to strong hold when you're wearing your hair up, but it doesn't have a nice, natural-looking, flexible hold. It also doesn't brush out at all like some other hairsprays, which means you're stuck with the stickiness until you wash your hair.

Healthy hairspray! Yay
I will only use organic or non-toxic hair products, so that limits my choices. I used and loved Carina Organics hairspray for a while but then realized it had a type of alcohol in it that was drying to hair. So I had to give it up, since I'm trying to grow my hair long and have to be very careful not to damage it. That set me on a quest to find an alcohol-free hairspray that is also natural and cruelty free. No easy feat! This one fits the bill. It is fragranced with a natural essential oil called Litsea Cubeba. I usually smell love the smell of essential oils, but Litsea Cubeba is a smell that I normally do not like at all. However, the smell of it in this hairspray actually doesn't bother me, because it's so light and fresh and goes away immediately. The degree of hold is very good... almost too good. You have to be careful to not use too much, and to spray it a bit of a distance from your hair, otherwise it will dry a bit hard and be difficult to comb through. The immediate finish on the hair is definitely on the wet side, which will wipe out your hair style unless you show restraint with how much you use. So it's best use is as a finishing spray, to add some definition, hold, and shine, while taming fly-aways. If you try to use it as a true "working" spray to re-shape your style, you'll likely be disappointed, as it's not very forgiving or layerable. In a perfect world, I would prefer a spray that goes on more dry, but I don't think that can really be achieved in a non-aerosol hairspray, not without the use of toxic chemicals or drying alcohol. All in all, very happy with this product because even though it's limited and a bit touchy, it does exactly what I need it to do while being good for my hair.

I love Yarok products!
I’ve used York for about 10 years now. Last time I ran out of my Yarok hairspray, I tried another brand that was supposedly natural and unscented. But it stunk and I had to return it. Plus, it made my hair too stiff.

Not the same formula, very disappointed
I have been using this product for a while now and loved that it's organic and how it protected and left my hair. But I am extremely disappointed with my most recent order, not sure if the formula was recently changed or if I just got a bad batch. It's almost like there's glue in the formula, it left my hair super sticky. So sticky it sticks to my skin and when I try to curl it with the flat iron, it doesn't glide down as it should because it just feels like there glue in my hair! Not happy at all! Needless to say this will be my last purchase.

I'm amazed
Literally can't say enough good things about this hair spray. I have curly hair and I have used everything from cheapest at Walmart to salon quality and used to think the only way to keep curls good for 2 days was "crunchy" products. Until I used this product I was right after I now know I was wrong. It's all natural, organic, smells amazing, uses essential oils and actually keeps my hair perfect BUT without the "crunch" and works great when I straighten my hair.I read reviews that stated this hair spray didn't allow them to comb through their hair I couldnt disagree more. It is way more expensive than average hair spray but it's also way better quality and worth every penny. I'll never buy another hair spray again. PS this is 30 years of dealing with curly hair

No hold, does smooth hair
Does make your hair smooth, but gives no lift that lasts and zero hold. I have fine, thiner hair with a little natural wave.
