Vapour Organic Beauty Siren Lipstick, Desire-Warm Rosy Pink, 0.11 Ounce

I am allergic to most lipsticks, but had fallen in love with Vapour base makeup. So I thought I would take a chance on this lipstick and possibly wear it to my daughter's wedding. I usually just wear gloss, but that doesn't really photograph well. I took off a star because the color I purchased does not resemble the color shown online exactly; a little more brick and browned out; like a neutral rather than a true peach or coral. This color is not terribly flattering to my complexion. However, I have not had any negative reaction to the pigments or the lipstick. Also, it is a very nice texture, soft and emollient but with good "cling". I have tried it as a neutral base for gloss in brighter colors in the peach/coral range and it works well. The packaging is nice; rather slim case and easily maneuvered.I can get a clean lip line without a brush. Lastly, unlike many other natural pigment lipsticks, this does not seem so soft that it will break off in my hand some hot day if I carry it in my purse. So I defintely will try this brand again, but I plan to call the company first for a consult re color. We don't have a store here that sells it.

I ADORE Vapor Organic Beauty's Stratus Instant Skin Perfector (makes my skin look so good, I usually skip foundation) & their Mesmerize Eyeliner, for days. Their line is VERY pricey but totally worth it for the woman who wants natural, organic ingredients in her make-up. But their lipstick -- not so much. It's overpriced because the amount in the tube is only half of what you get in a normal lipstick bullet. Vapor's lipsticks come in a long skinny tube, but the amount of product should be the same as in a regular short lipstick. It's not -- the entire tube is less than 4-inch long. When I rolled it out to examine it, the actual lipstick itself was barely more than 1-inch long! And it doesn't even have a tapered end, which you need to apply the product to your lipline correctly. The merchant (Dermstore) is not to blame -- this is just the way Vapor packages their lipsticks, which I won't be buying again. My only consolation was that another merchant (b-glowing) had a Vapour lipstick for sale in a different shade for only $3.00! Getting that one for a bargain price took some of the sting out of paying $22 for this one. But Desire is a gorgeous color that looks great on any woman, no matter her age or complexion.

Natural lipstick, way much lighter that expected and needed to apply often so i wont last that long.

This lipstick does not dry out my sensitive lips. The color is a nice soft pink. I’d order it again. I like their cream blushes too.

I ordered several of these lipsticks since they are marketed as containing no petroleum products. However, I cannot get the top off of some of them, and IF they swivel the lipstick up, they cannot be swiveled down. I use them at home with a lipstick brush. Good product EXTREMELY poor container.

luv the color but not worth the money even tho this is my 3rd purchase

Since I became aware of the nasty chemicals in most makeup I don't buy anything without checking it out on the EWGskindeep web site. Vapour products are rated a 2 on the site, for those of you who are unfamiliar with the EWG rating it goes like this: 0 is the best, nothing toxic or dangerous to us or our environment, 10 is your basic toxic waste. So this lipstick got a 2 from EWG for safety and i give it 4 stars for looks and performance.The reviews from other customers were mostly positive with a few girls complaining that it dried their lips out and since this is a real problem with my lips I decided to read the mfg description and instructions carefully. The directions stated that this product works best when layered with their lip conditioner, aw ha! This told me that the dry lip thing was an issue for some people so I ordered the lip conditioner, lip stick and gloss.I tried the lipstick by itself, yes it sucked the moisture right out of my lips, didn't burn or chap, just made them very dry. The lipstick also had a tendency to creep into those little lines around my mouth I've accumulated over the years. Then I tried applying the lip conditioner, which by the way, is marvelous. Not greasy, just magical moisture that melted into my lips. Over this I applied the lipstick. Voila! No more creeping and no more drying. It has a nice sheen, not shiny, just gives you a "just licked my lips" look. If you want shine you can add a layer of their gloss.One last note about my rating. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because for those of us with dry lips it requires 2 products, 2 applications and 2 items to keep in my bag and I find that a tad irritating. However, the products are great and I'll put up with a bit of aggrivation for the look and feel of the lipstick.

I have recently been making the switch over to natural and toxic-free skincare and makeup lines. This is the first organic lipstick I have tried and I really like it. It's a bit expensive for the size, but it's worth it not to have to slather all those chemicals on my lips. The color is creamy and applies evenly with a hint of shine. It is very natural looking. I have the colors Desire and Possess which are both pretty, natural looking pinks. I wouldn't say there is a ton of pigment, but I like how it feels and looks. It also lasts on the lips for a good bit too. I haven't tried any of the darker colors, but I have read in other reviews that Ravish is a good red on most complexions. I am going to try Tempt next. Very happy with my Vapour lipsticks!
