M4 Sherman HVSS T80-Track - U.S. Medium Tank M4 Sherman Type 80 Workable Track Link (Steel Type), 1:35 Scale for M4 Tank, M40 Howitzer, T26 and M50 Sherman Tank

Where to begin? Two huge ejector pin marks on each track that have to be either filled or scraped off. Each track has a distinct mold line around the perimeter, and many have sink marks. The little pins on each track are extremely delicate and are bound to be damaged during the above mentioned ejector pin & mold line cleanup. The tiny parts also have a lot of flash. So after all of the above fiddly filling, scraping and cleanup, the assembly takes a little time to get everything aligned, but they do go together (at least on the one inch section that I started with). According to the instructions, each step in the assembly requires no glue and is supposed to be snap together / friction fit. They are however NOT snap together nor are they friction fit and they simply fall apart when moved and are unusable as a "workable" track. They have been on my workbench for a couple of months so it is too late to return them for a refund. I guess I will use them for spare track sections... glued together, of course. These are a nice idea but are a terrible execution of the idea. Not sure how this item received any favorable reviews and I would give these zero stars if it were possible. Save your money and look elsewhere.
