Love my lamp, very comfortable lighting for me when I want to calm down and watch t.v. in bed. Relaxing. Really like it. Pretty without shade. Worth money.

These lights do not come with bulbs, which allow syou to select the wattage (or even color!) and style of bulb you'd like to use. Threfore, you could use these for photos, for ambiance, anything in between really. I used them for a comedy stage and loved how it came out. You could also use these as a floor lamp and choose a dim bulb for mood lighting. they have an easy foot-push to turn them on and are easy to pop up.

These are exactly what I wanted. I use soft lights in them and Alexa plug-in sockets. They are very nice.
