Easy to put together. Love the color that I reordered another. Out of both orders, I never had any missing parts. Which was great!! The thickness is nice because it looks heavy, but its light weight and doesn't move once in spot. Its stability is great my daughter likes to lean against it and it stays still. Hold lots of stuff or just a nice decor on each shelf for elegance.

The case is made of pressboard. It is nicely painted so that does not matter much. The case is in my grandchildren's room so it will take a beating - not a place for high end walnut. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Essentially all you need is two sizes of phillips head screwdrivers. The case is very heavy so you might want to unpack it outside and bring in the pieces one at a time. The fasteners are like nuts and bolts and very easy to screw together. The book case will hold a lot of books - the two bottom cnterposts help support the weight and prevents sags. The only negative is that the case will wobble from side to side. If it wasn't for the kids I would not care. But to add rigidity I added four knees to the back four corners. These are six inch triangles of 1/2 inch plywood. It took about and hour and a half to complete the assembly. All in all I am very pleased. TR

Package was delivered after a few days. The package was very heavy. After I took out the 4 staples it was easy to unstick the flaps and open. It was packed efficiently and everything was labeled. It is made of pressed wood or particleboard I didnt mind. I was being very careful not to knock the pieces together but I did ding one of the pieces that went on the inside. The paint scratched up about half and inch long. I couldnt see it once it was put together. There are what looks like scratches on the paint BUT if you look at the fourth picture off of amazon you can see that it's meant to look that way. They aren't real scratch marks- that's the way it is. The instructions were very easy to read. I made sure to tighten EVERYTHING before moving on to the next page. You need at least a screwdriver (I would use the handle to hammer the wooden pegs in). I needed some help as i assembled it towards the end as it was getting a bit too heavy. It took me about 2 hrs to complete. It has two support legs but since I have it on carpet it wobbles. I adjusted the legs sideways ◇ as a placebo effect for me- it wobbles less haha. Quick fix would be anchoring it to the wall since it's in my kids room. The stickers were just that and left no residue when I removed them. All I did was take the stickers that i could see and stick them to the same piece but on a place i couldn't see (front to back or front to bottom). They stick enough the second time around. The shelves on both sides (not the middle) are just placed on the metal pegs- they aren't bolted in. I informed my kids to not climb the bookshelf and proceeded to show them how easy it is to tip if its top heavy since it's on an uneven surface. I also showed them what would happen if they were to put their feet on the shelves. So after my safety course I had them put their books at the bottom while the toys and lighter stuff went in cubes on the top shelf. Very happy with the bookshelf and its price. I recommend this bookshelf for preschoolers and up as it's a hazard for kids who dont understand why they shouldn't climb it. For me it is sturdy enough if it's on a flat surface. Anchor it. Think of it as imitation wood- use coasters:) if you take care of it it will last.

A relatively sturdy, nice piece of furniture. It's mostly particle board but the quality was much better than other pieces we have assembled. Two holes were off, which seems to be an adjustment needed at the factory, but the piece looks good, was relatively easy to put together, and did not fall apart like most particle board pieces. It also does not off-gas like so many pieces now so no horrible smell. Overall, a decent piece. I would have given it 5 stars if it had more actual wood components. The grey color is a very light shade of grey that would blend in with blues and greens as well.

I ordered this for my babies nursery and it was the perfect fit! Simple assembly just like any other piece of Furniture. It looks better than a regular cube shelf without legs. It is made of basic material but feels sturdy enough for a kids toy shelf. We ordered 11x13 wicker baskets from target and they fit perfectly! But they do stick out behind when pushed flush in the front. The bottom middle box does have a back and will make a 13 in basket stick out (see photo for example) we just put a stuffed animal there for decor. Overall we are happy with it for the price and it was exactly what we expected!

I really like this stand. It has a classic design, is just the right height ... even for a hospital bed. It was exceptionally easy to assemble; had it together in no time. One of the middle support legs broke immediately upon placing it where it was to go, not sure if it was a flaw in production or a mistake on my part. It also did not have enough of the black caps which fit over the locking cams. No biggie. I called the number Bush provided in the box, customer service was outstanding, very friendly. They sent me 2 new middle support legs, and a package of the black caps. Was refreshing to have such a pain free customer service experience. If I had to state a downside, it would be that the shelves cannot hold the dvd/blu ray player (the player is too long). The TV leaves no room to set it up on top. I do plan to eventually have the TV wall mounted which will then allow me to set up the player on the top. It's a small inconvenience but far from a deal breaker. The adjustable shelf makes up for it as it was just the right height for the sub-woofer which I did not want on the floor due to pets. Absolutely happy with the purchase and highly recommend.
