Desktop speaker stands on a budget
I purchased these as stands for my desktop speakers. I'm sure they work great for door stops, but they work even better for my application. After looking at a $30 pair of audioengine DS1 stands, I decided to look at other less expensive options (because it is stupid to pay that price). When I came across these I thought they are nearly the same dimensions and if they didn't work for my audioengine A1's, I'd use them for a proper door stop. Well they do work, and I can adjust the angle of the speakers. I may in the future paint the metal to a gloss black, but for now they work for me and I saved $20.

Eh - nice concept, looks really nice but not as big as I thought it would be. It's OK, probably wouldn't buy again.

Good design, but has safety flaws.
Be advised that there are 4 short metal pins that help keep the metal pull attached to the rubber wedge. There are not secured very well and will fall out if it is kicked around too much. I own 6 of these and it has happened with every single one. With small children this is an ingestion/choking hazard. I have used E6000 to re-secure them to the rubber. However, the stop is very functional and the rubber is durable.

Great heavy duty wedges
Great heavy duty wedges, The only week link is the rivets holding the handle on, the will pull out fairly easily. I replace the rivets with a stainless machine bolt and lock washer and nut. Since then not a problem.

Looks nice but falls apart
These were great at first, but within days I noticed that the "rivets" that look like they hold the metal handle to the rubber portion of the stop were all falling out. They're not affixed to anything on the other side of the metal, it's just rubber and the end in the rubber doesn't flare out or have barbs to hold it in. I ended up using super glue to put the "rivets" back in and hold the handle portion onto the rubber. Works great after I fixed it, but you shouldn't have to fix brand new things.

They aren't very good at holding a door
They aren't very good at holding a door. All i have behind the door is some scarves so it isn't super heavy and it is a normal door in a home so nothing metal or anything like that. But it doesn't do a great job of staying in place. I would not buy these again
