A coloured image from the book in a colourful palette. The spine is glue bound, although not tightly, meaning it will become more pliable with use. The paper in the book is bright white and textured, and is a delight to colour with pencils. I managed quite a few layers and could have easily used a few more without the paper filling up. Fineliners and waterbased markers bleed a little, alcohol markers will bleed a lot, so make sure to pop a piece of card or a few sheets of normal paper behind each image to protect it.Thankfully images are single sided, so there's no need to worry about markers or fineliners ruining the next image! The images also have a white border around each one to prevent the images entering the spine, something that will be a relief to a lot of colourists!ImagesThe front cover describes this book as a 'Sci-Fi Adult Coloring Book Adventure' and I'd say that's about as accurate as it gets!I'll admit, the first flip through had me a bit confused - I couldn't wrap my head around the 'story' or theme the artist was going for. But on my second and third look through, I started to appreciate the story and line work in each image. There is a large variety of images within the book - astronauts, aliens, alien abductions, space monsters, space romance and so much more. Each time I look through, I seem to find something new! The drawing style is quite unique, with most images containing some rough lines and others very detailed lines. Line work within the book, and each image, varies quite a bit, with some images containing mainly thin lines, with some thick, other containing lots of thick black lines and some tiny thin lines - but it seems to work quite well with the image style, Intricacy varies a bit. Some images contain mostly larger spaces with very few small detailed areas with some images containing many more small, intricate areas to colour. HealthIf you like being transported away, taken on a journey and away from Earth - this book will most certainly achieve this! It's a book that is good to colour when you need a distraction, as the subject matter and offbeat images are quite amusing to colour and imagine! It would suit fluctuating concentration levels, as there is a variety of intricacy. If you can only focus for a few minutes at a time one day, and much longer the next day, you'll be able to pick and choose areas of images that suit your concentration. The line thickness will most likely suit those with fine motor and vision impairments, but as ever, please have a look at the images before you make any decisions!

I was given the chance to review Space Dreams, a unique adult coloring book with lots of hand-drawn sci-fi images. I love coloring, even as an adult, and I already own two other coloring books for adults.When I received Space Dreams, I immediately set out to find my crayons, even though it's suggested you use colored pencils. As I have none, I used crayons. I have no shame in admitting I still use them.Space Dreams has some really cool imagery, and as a fan of aliens and sci-fi type things, this coloring book was definitely something I enjoyed looking through. I knew I had to find the best picture to color in first.I've done three of the 38 drawings so far, and I have to say, sitting down to color with this book is so relaxing. It de-stresses me when I'm having one of those days. I can just plop down in my seat, open to a page, pick up a crayon, and lose myself in this fascinating new world that my imagination can bring to life with just a handful of colors.I did include some before and after pictures that I colored in.I do find this coloring book to be fun, entertaining, and a much needed escape from reality during stressful days. I'd give it 4.5 stars. A must-have for any adult fan of coloring books!

I really wanted one of these coloring books for adults. I am an artist and jsut wanted something to jsut color. I like it, but it has more people in it than actual space scenes, which I was hoping for. Although the paper is great, it does bleed through a little so put a piece of paper under the picture if using markers. THe colored pencils are blending and working great.

Very original and different. Thank god the illustrations are not of extremely skinny sexy girls so children can also color this book. The paper is not good though, but I'm already over bad cheap paper because I make copies on good quality paper. I really like the originality of this book.

I really dig the art style of this book, very different from much of what's out there. I hope to see more by this artist!

If you have only had the regular kind of coloring book, you need to get this. It is a completely different experience. These aren't random pictures generated from some stock file, they are line images that have been drawn (apparently by hand) for the purpose of being colored. The spaces are nicely delineated and there are all kinds of areas that you can color simply or in more imaginative ways... fabric overlays, for example.

Amazing coloring book! Such beautiful art work! I can't wait to color every page. Paper quality is great and all images are single sided. Also, would be a perfect coloring book for men!

cool and different the only drawback is that the paper could be better...if you use water it will become a soggy mess...(as did the person that i bought it for!) nonetheless there are plenty other options to work with. Different.

I'll be asking for a refund, the pictures are truly awful, like something a 10 year old has drawn, like the photo I submitted, wtf is it?
