Excellent results
I am not an experienced home baker at all. But this mix is fool-proof -- I followed the directions exactly (the two foil-pan version) and the result was excellent. A delicious, perfectly-done cake. Oven at 350 F (using BAKE with CONVECTION OFF, pre-heated), lowest rack, and at the 45-minute mark the internal temperature of the cake in both pans was just over the 210 F mark, as most experts recommend (and it passed all the usual tests -- top nicely browned, edges separated from the pan, knife comes out clean). This cake is FODMAP and allergy heaven -- no yeast, no honey, no gluten, and (I used 2% Lactaid Milk) no lactose. Like other reviewers, I used olive oil. Very, very pleased with the product. I also followed their optional Step 4 for an icing, again using 2% Lactaid Milk -- I doubled the milk, doubled the vanilla extract, used brown sugar, and dumped in a large bag of frozen strawberries ... all in a big blender which got quite a workout, but the result was a phenomenal strawberry sauce that I puddled (somewhat artfully, IMHO anyway!) on the side of each plate with a cake slice that I served. All my dinner-mates here were very impressed! Although I didn't do this, the two-pan method, since it yielded two low-rise cakes, would be perfect for making a layer cake with a lemon or strawberry icing in between the layers and on the top.

Pound Cake. Terrible
It lacked flavor. Ingredients are terrible in the box and it made me really sick. Don’t ever get these it’s not worth ur money. Don’t waste ur money. I would never buy this again. Or eat it. I would rather go to my GF Bakery and order one. I should be refunded. Terrible product and not worth the money period. It’s a rip off.

Wow the best pound cake
Made this now twice. It is awesome!! My husband has celiac disease as well as my brother. I made this cake for a family gathering and everyone said it was the best pound cake they have ever had. Nobody else knew it was gluten free. It was moist and just the best pound cake even though it was gluten free. It took a little longer to cook then the package called for so be sure you use a tooth pick and place in the middle before you remove it from the oven. The cake mix is expensive in my opinion but great for people with gluten allergies. You can buy one at a gluten free bakery for about $8-$10. but it's nice to be able to make it yourself. It would be great if the price came down a few dollars.

Don't bake for 60 minutes!
The box came damaged, but the bag inside was intact. My problem was that the directions said to bake for 60-65 minutes. Thankfully, I checked on the cake after 40 minutes. It was already a bit passed done. The taste was okay; I'm sure it would have been better had i taken it out even sooner. I baked it as directed at 350. I used a glass pan

A Keeper
YAY! My nut-free, gluten-free family can eat pound cake again! We used this mix to make a gluten free lamby cake for Easter. It tasted like the real thing! It didn't quite rise as much to form the poor lamb's behind, but it tasted very much like vanilla and was moist for 3 days. SOOOO good and I will definitely be repurchasing. Its a little pricey, but worth the treat!
